Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Somehow equipped with very very small shower space. Do expect knock here and there during shower.

Staff are professional, friendly and attentative . Only thing is that the pillows are too soft which give me a stiff neck. I could not find any English channels, like bbc or skynews or news channels like tagesschau.

There was only one bottle of water provided for the whole 4 night stay. When asked the front, we were told that any extra ones need to be purchased, which was shocking considering the number of nights for this booking. After the first night, we hang the door with "no cleaning" to get extra ALL points, but the room was cleaned anyway and the points were not given. On the last night, the toilet flush was broken and keep flushing, in which I contacted the front but was informed that the mechanic was not available and the hotel was fully booked, so we ended up with water noise throungout the whole night. The personnel were friendly, especially the thai lady.

Terrible guest service. The woman at the front desk on a Saturday morning breaks away from helping me with an accessibility issue to answer the phone and then spend more than 5 minutes on the call with the other guest while I stand and wait. When I complain about that, she shrugs. When I say that I am a Gold member, she shrugs again and says: "Everybody is a gold member." So much for benefits. I say her poor service is making me reconsider a 17 night booking at a Mercure in Kyoto, Japan. She shrugs. I just cancelled that booking of 17 nights and will look for better. The shower stalls have serious issues with accessibility, it is a big step DOWN out of the shower onto the bathroom floor, no grab bars to help, no anti-slip mat. If you have knee troubles or other accessibility issues, don't stay here. The paint in the bathroom is peeling. The radiators are rusty. The lighting is poor. We were warned off the breakfast, which costs 22 euros a head, and went to the cafe beside the hotel, which was cheaper and better. The location was good for transport and the room was spacious. Those are the plus points. However, overall, poor value for money. Not likely to stay here again.

Arrived early & was able to checkin early, this was greatly appreciated so that we could get to the Christmas markets. Room was satisfactory for our two night stay, the bed was extremely comfortable. Tram stop located nearby. We had breakfast on one morning only, this cost €22 per person there was plenty of choice & good quality
