The staff members at the reception were not friendly. I had to wait 10 minutes to check in. There was a noise coming from the bathroom, coming from the top above the shower. The room and the TV was small.

Bad Attitude Reception That Ruin my Day

When we arrive the counter both of the receptionist show no smile to us and we say we just arrived from the station . So if there is any room ready can we check in early as i registered as the accor member too. She ask us come back at 3pm which is 6 more hour to wait. Is okay then i sit at the lobby and wait but i keep seeing people checking in and they dont even come to invite us to check in. We are sitting there like stupid seeing others people can do thier check in but not us! Then i went to ask they show like piss off face to me especially the Vietnamese reception! We are both asian but how come u treat us like racist . Do ibis group trains their hospitality like this? I am a loyal ibis customer but this is my worst stay and feel treated differently ! Is not fair to let others check in 1st but keep seeing us waiting there like stupid. If i did not go to counter ask and ask again i need to wait for 6 hours? Ibis should give proper training to these people. Is so rude and not friendly

Dear Mr. L., I sincerely apologize for the deficiencies and human errors that unfortunately caused inconveniences for you. It sure looks like there were some major flaws within our check-in procedures. Sorry to also learn that the behaviour of the employees at reception was less than satisfactory. I appreciate your honest critique which will be the basis for discussions within our local team - and a careful evaluation of the root of these problems. Please allow me as an explanation that other guests were able to check in earlier because they had booked the paid check-in and we were able to prepare for that. But rest assured that we will take necessary measures so that an experience like yours will continue to be the rare exception. On a personal note and on behalf of my team, I would like to ask you to come back once more for an opportunity to prove to you that we can do a much better job.
