This is our first time in Munich and travelled by train with luggages, location was really near the station, walkable even with large luggages. Near to both Oktoberfest at Theresebeweisse and also near the Old Town Area. Service was exceptional, went the extra effort of providing ID bracelets to be worn when going to Oktoberfest so that if you get too drunk they will know what hotel to bring you back to!

The rooms were extremely hot, unbearable to get ready or sleep in at that heat level. Also, the cleaning service was so incredibly subpar. My pajamas were left on my bed, later to be found on top of my dirty luggage. Mini bar refill was left on the counter, never put in the fridge, so was left with warm beer. I had left a piece of trash on my nightstand, later to be found on my bathroom counter. My sister had another room down the hall, and her dirty towels were re-hung on the hooks after being placed on the floor for a fresh set. She also entered the room upon check in to find sticky bathroom floors.

We really enjoyed our stay …our rooms were clean and comfortable. The lounge was very nice and the staff was very good. The only complaint we had was that is was very pricey and the breakfast buffet was not included in our price. $4400.00 for 3 nights 2 rooms…. Breakfast should have been included in that outrageous price.

My husband and I just finished a week-long stay at Mercure Hotel Muenchen City Center, and unfortunately we were less than impressed. First, there was no working air conditioning. We were told the sensors are located outside the building, so on a 69-degree day the A/C wouldn't kick on, and we were advised to leave our window open instead. We ended up keeping it open around the clock just for ventilation — it made for a genuinely miserable stay. Second, our shower door wouldn't close properly. Maintenance came out but couldn't fix it, so every night one of us had to hold the door shut to keep the bathroom from flooding. Third, we brought dinner back to the hotel one evening around 8pm and sat down in the lobby to eat, since our room had no A/C. We were asked to leave (no reason as to why) and staff told my husband, "You have a table in your room." I just flat out don’t think they wanted to wipe the table. Lastly, the breakfast buffet was pricey and repetitive. Same food every single day, no variety and not worth the (undisclosed) cost. On the plus side, the location is walkable to Oktoberfest and the train station. But the surrounding neighborhood felt unsafe at night. Between the lack of A/C, the broken shower, the poor guest service, and the neighborhood, we won't be staying here again and can't recommend it.

Overall our stay was good. Location, size of room, comfy bed, large bathroom. The big negative was the heat of the room, aircon was on cool and the lowest it could go but the room was extremely warm the whole time we were there. Spoke to receptionist and they said it works using the outside temperature gauge and if it’s under 21 then it doesn’t work but some days outside was warmer than that so couldn’t understand why it was still so hot in our room. They eventually gave us a fan but didn’t really change the room at all. This wasn’t very pleasant

Overall it was a comfortable stay & rooms were clean. The staff was courteous & helpful. The location however is the best part especially for Oktoberfest event. The hotel also provided early check-in which was a massive boon for us. While the prices are significantly higher during festival the hotel fails to justify the same with any amenities. Unlike many other hotels, there was no festive environment along with any merchandising in the rooms to even justify any upcharge. Also there is no Gym & hardly any vegetarian options in breakfast buffet. As a Diamond member, it was a complete let down as there was no personal note from the Hotel GM's or any momentos in the room. Not once did I feel like a Top tier customer in the hotel either at checkin or checkout. Good pace to stay but only for location.

Visited for 3 nights in September. Easy access from Munich Haptbahnhoff (central station). Comfortable rooms, good size, and mini bar which is included. Breakfast had a wide and varied choice. Service on reception was good, multilingual staff and always someone there on hand to assist with all manor of queries. Breakfast staff hardworking and very accomodating. Rooms always clean and well maintained.

Great location, very close to the train station and trams, as well as the Old Town. The team there were wonderful, even before my stay when assisting with my queries prior to my arrival. When I arrived, I realised I had made a mistake and had booked the wrong room type. Sarah was very accommodating and was able to change the room for me, which was greatly appreciated.

The room was great, the service was exceptional, and outside amenities were close by. Less than a 5 minute walk to the train station. Convenient to use the team system from the airport to get to the hotel.
