First time at the Mercure. Having stayed at Accor hotels all over the world, this is the first time that my Gold level membership was not acknowledged. No welcome note or small token. It might sound petty, but when you are away from hotel, it means quite a lot.

Bit overwhelming staying in Brisbane. Going on cruise next day. Delightful young lady called Emily ( or Emma)was very helpful. She helped my husband with an Uber ap on his phone.This meant we only paid about 1/2 what we were expecting. Young gentleman next morning helped with delicious breakfast.
