The staff were friendly And the did apologise about the pool was getting refilled. I did ask them how long it would take. I told them don’t worry, I will be back next time

I arrived to the hotel and $130 from my savings account was taken for deposit and parking which is fine however i am still awaiting for the $100 deposit back. When provided room 1904 i believe it was disgcusting to say the least the stench and carpet was putrid. I advised the lovely lady at receiption and i was provided room 504 which i was satisfied with. the Lady at the counter i would give a 10 out of 10 for service. We went to use the pool and to our suprise it was closed this was extremely disappointing as it was not diclosed anywhere the pool facilities were closed.

Being from out of town and not having transport I found everything ie food shopping was within 5mins walk max. I will say there needs to be more cutlery in the room along with just one saucepan to cook with. I had one knife and two forks, two dessert spoons and two spoons. That is ok if you are the only person in the room however I only had one dishwashing satchet for the week. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Mantra on Mary to anyone going to Brisbane.

Smelly and grubby with stained carpets and cushions. Shower in bath totally unsuitable for anyone over 50 as the step in and out is too high and possibly dangerous. Thin cotton blanket on bed and no other warm covers.

I have also requested the protective lift curtains be cleaned on a more regular basis to better the smell and comfort for all. Unfortunately, our high bathtubs can eb quite difficult and we are well aware of this issue for future renovations. Should you run into any issues like this in the future please always let reception know, we are always happy to assist and are prepared with non-slip mats and stepping stools upon request. The only problem I had was the tub in the bathroom was too high for me to get in room 2905. Next time for me to stay at Mantra is to put me in a room with low access to get into the shower or a disability room. Thankyou.

Stayed 4 sleepless nights ...at 11.45pm every nigh the jack hammers started on the building next door (cross river tunnel station) and appeared to go ALL night. Room was nice - well appointed

Great location - 20 min walk to Southbank - 45 min walk to lookout over Storey bridge and city backdrop. Great to have a balcony to eat brekky with a glimpse of the river and Storey Bridge. Room had everything you would need.

Facilities were okay- 2 pieces of each cutlery (2 forks,spoons and knives) meant that every time I ate I had to wash up or run the dishwasher-surely 4-6 would be available. The shower over the bath was dangerous- too high and difficult to step out and in through the screen. Air conditioner pad on the wall was worn out and unreadable.

The standard of the apartment was poor. Dirty carpets, worn and disccoloured bedding. Carpets were dirty. On leaving the lift on Level 15 there was an instant unpleasant odour. On entering apartment 1507 another unpleasant odour was evident. I had to open both doors for 2 hours to clear the musty mouldy odour. I had to do that on each of my 5 day stay. Each night on Level 15 I heard a dog barking from an apartment on the same level. One of my towels was very old..

Reception not open upon arrival (waiting over 30 minutes for it to be attended) and closed again on departure, had problems with card access existing the garage and as no one was at reception, had to bug other customers to help by using their cards. Room appeared somewhat outdated and view from our room was terrible (looking into another block of residential apartments which we could see into).
