I have taken note of the concerns you raised regarding the condition of the apartment. I will have our maintenance team look into these items and assess what repairs or improvements are required. We are also reviewing the overall condition of the property and will consider further upgrades where appropriate to improve the guest experience. Regarding the construction, unfortunately this is outside of the hotel's control as it is part of ongoing development in the surrounding city area. Everything is broken massive cracks in the walls, dryer broken, lift access key broken, the bin is broken, the springs on the bed stick into your ribs, pool heater is broken, most of the gym equipment broken, had cockroaches in our unit, internet doesn't work, fridge door doesn't stay closed, construction 24/7 we were not informed prior to our stay, air-con doesn't work properly(turn it on and nothing), parking absolutely sticks of sewerage and bins i will never stay at a mantra again and I stay at alot of hotels as I travel between Sydney, nelson bay and Queensland a very run down building and a lack of maintenance the only good thing about it the staff are very polite and helpful

Why sell a hotel room knowing that there are works impacting your guests. Very deceptive conduct.

After booking and payment made there was a note on the page about some possible noise from nearby construction. This was never communicated prior to booking, or ever communicated directly as it should have been, considering that there was noise that made the room and building vibrate (even on the 31st floor) from 6pm to 6am. I did not sleep. The room felt and looked like it hadn't been visited for months. The TV didn't work. No free to air, but only internet, which didn't seem to reach the TV. The internet only worked in one corner of the apartment. Air-con was noisy. I was promised I could book another Mantra apartment, but had to spend hours on the phone to an unhelpful customer service, who have still nearly a week later not successfully applied credit to my replacement hotel stay as promised. Appalling service. Mantra shouild be ashamed of themselves for leaving the staff and guests in such conditions.

Smoke alarms kept going off on 13th floor, & one blanket between 3guests was a bit disappointing & chill. Could do with a few new amenities. However check in was great..Lovely lady at the desk & great convenient location to city. At better notice I would of requested a higher floor with better view. Thanks tho, appreciated

Terrible amenities at this hotel

The staff were unfailingly polite, but this felt more like a backpacker's dormitory experience than a stay at an Accor hotel. The building is basically a unit block with a reception desk and a towel cupboard on the ground floor. No housekeeping (if you wanted a fresh towel, or more toilet paper, or more washing powder, you had to ask at reception). An almost undecorated suite (including, randomly, a room entirely empty apart from a a desk and a chair). A poor layout for a hotel suite, including a big empty wall that felt institutional. A couch covered in who-knows-what stains. An air conditioning panel with all the numbers and text scratched off, and a laminated sign on the wall warning that the air con will conk out if set below 20 (and this is in Brisbane!). A cockroach in the lobby, and aother in my room.
