I was verbally abuse then ignored with the receptionist

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. At Mantra, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. I am sorry to hear that during your time here you only recieved the one room service and that this was not your expectation. The reason for this is that we only do the one free service clean if you stay longer then 5 nights, any additional room cleans are at an additional cost and can be requested via reception. If you do require any additional items throught your stay our reception is always stocked and the team are happy to help. The room was dirty. There was old toothbrushes, lots of dust, gross stains etc. there was also lots of broken items, the bath, heater etc.

Nice rooms but smelly

The initial impression of the studio was great. This was soon crushed by the smell of faeces and urine in the rooms and on the outside deck. Disgusting actually and quite off putting, we had to sleep with the external doors open all night.

We have stayed with Mantra alot in the past and have always been very happy with the standards provided but sadly not this time. This room was small and stuffy which wasn't the real problem. The real problems were that the main bed was not what i would even call a bed, it was something i would expect to sleep on when i was 20 years old and staying at a friends house, it was a very bad mattress with two old mattress toppers that were trying to substitute as a mattress, it was very disappointing. Also the bathtub/shower was so high that getting into it would have been impossible if we were 10years older, this was fine for us but it would be terrible for an elderly couple. My son also found two condoms in the side drawer (not used thankfully) but still it was not particularly something i wanted to explain the use of at that point. I am sorry to complain but i have now been asked twice to give feedback and feel these things need to be said. Like i said before Mantra has always been somewhere we have found to be a trusted stay but this time was way off. The receptionists at the front counter though were lovely and very helpful.

On site parking is always a big consideration when I book in the Brisbane CBD. The Mantra is 2 minutes to everywhere I need to be. Great customer service and the parking spaces are easy to drive into and access. Great full kitchen & laundry with private room. Thanks for another great stay!

Just a one night stay so we could attend the Qld Ballet performance at QPAC. Room was most suitable and we enjoyed our stay very much. Also thank you for recommending Priority One Travel for our airport pick up - they are a great company and we will use both the hotel and that taxi serrvice again next time.

I chose the Mantra on Mary based on what I have come to expect from the Mantra group, which presents good quality rooms and services at family friendly pricing. As we were only staying the 1 night and were only essentially sleeping in the room, I chose not worry about asking to change, however I write this email to bring to your attention the sad state of the room, including holes in walls and cupboards, filthy stained carpet and rickety well-worn furniture and mattresses that are past their reasonable used lifespan. I will comment, on the whole the room was reasonably clean except for the large fingernail that was found by my daughter in the sofa... As I mentioned to the receptionist on departure, the room is not fit to wear the Mantra name and as such should be taken out of circulation or fixed to be useable. This occurrence is the kind of situation that makes you reconsider the Mantra name the next time to look to choose accommodation on holidays around Australia.

Great location. Easy walk to Queen street mall, Eagle street pier and South Bank. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, great view of city. Only problem was an offensive smell (?from waste shut) outside our door on way to lift. Was there all weekend, even after informing front desk staff a couple of times. I would still recommend staying here.

Our apartment 3902 was lovely, great views from our balcony and the 2nd room was good with just a desk in it we had our luggage and ironing board set up in it as our dressing room. Very central to shops and sites walking distance.
