Within minutes of entering the apartment i started sneezing, there was hair located throughout the apartment. In the bathroom dust and long pieces of hair were everywhere. Stains all through the carpet in the living room. I was cold even after adjusting the thermostat on the air-conditioning so used the blanket out of the cupboard. I started itching within minutes, i barely slept from the sneezing and itching and woke with hives on my neck. I did advise the lady on reception of my experience and how unclean the apartment was.

Service from reception was good, I voiced my issue with the room smell and receptionist upgraded us right away without question. The issue is that the rubbish chute is right outside the room, paired with the air intake for the AC right above the internal front door... Meaning that when the AC is on, it sucks the rubbish smell from the hallway. The room also wasn't cleaned very well, mould all around the bathroom, and there was still water in the kettle when we checked into the second room, which wasn't a good sign.

Good location and value but room was tired and bathroom needed updating

Overall stay was OK . There were 3 detracting issues; 1 the lift lobbies in that building always smell odd, level 28 was particularly bad. Is it the refuse chutes? 2 TV was terrible- would not show a picture on most channels; and 3 Provision of cooking utensils was v poor; no fish slice, no wooden spoon. Pots and pans were good. No steak knives.
