Room smelt damp. Construction until 10pm at night.

Good sized apartment. The only two things not great were the fridge had an opened milk container but not a new one. Also, don’t like the shower enclosed in the bath. Was a tripping hazard as hard to get in and out of.

Great location and amenties. Only downfall, on departure I asked the reception to forward me a copy of tax invoice via email. 5 days later still waiting on this.

After three rooms of disappointment, only stayed three nights I’ve come to the conclusion that Mantra on Mary, as a Diamond Member is the number one bitter disappointment stay EVA.

Dear Fin, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay with us at Mantra on Mary. I’m very sorry to read that your experience fell so far below your expectations, particularly as a valued ALL Diamond member. We understand how disappointing it must have been to be moved between rooms during a fully booked period, and I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this caused. Your initial room did indeed have carpet stains, and relocating you the following day was intended to provide a more comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning failure in the second room occurred during Brisbane’s current heatwave, and I completely appreciate how frustrating and uncomfortable that would have been. Despite resolving this by moving you again, I recognise that this series of issues negatively impacted your stay. In recognition of these disruptions, we arranged a complimentary breakfast for you. As you noted, our property does not have an onsite restaurant or bar, and therefore does not offer the standard weekend breakfast or welcome drink redemption onsite. Under the ALL membership terms, complimentary breakfast is only available at properties with an operating food and beverage outlet, and welcome drink vouchers can be redeemed at any Accor hotel with a bar or restaurant. I understand this may not have been clear at the time of booking through the app, and I apologise for any confusion this caused. We are also sorry that your interactions with our team did not meet the level of service we aim to provide all guests, particularly our elite members. Your comments regarding reception service, housekeeping expectations, and room freshness have been shared directly with the relevant managers so that we can address them promptly with our teams and contractors. Your feedback is important, and while we cannot undo the experience you had, we are committed to learning from it and preventing similar issues in future. Room 3106: Good size TV. Bed was low, but comfortable. The décor is tired, dated furniture, stained carpet and the street access to the hotel was severely impacted by the road/building works next door. Noisy building works nearby went late into the night – had to close the balcony door, so no outdoor fresh ventilation - needed to rely on air conditioner. Despite having several (temporary) detours, the location was convenient to city facilities. The air conditioner control panel was not intuitive which made changing the temperature more difficult than it needed to be. Access to the shower in the bath is too high (elderly members would have great difficulty) and one could easily slip. Keys and lifts worked well. Car parking was very good. Receptionists were professional and courteous.
