To Whom It May Concern. Contacted by Ibis Budget Dandenong at 10.00pm and told manager I would be late. I mentioned 1 and a half hours. He said that was okay and to phone the number that he had phoned on when I arrived. Previous day sent email to see if I could have same room for an extra night stay that I had booked. Phoned office number previous day and message stated that there was a check-in kiosk at front door. I arrived 11.30 pm and phoned number multiple times with no response. At front door there is NO kiosk for check-in as stated on message. Attempted to phone emergency mobile listed at front door. Again no answer. At 11.51 pm the emergency number calls and the manager comes down with room key. In room by midnight. Shower soap almost empty and floor is unclean. Toilet flush works on half flush and other side is broken. Checked out in morning and checked back in Friday afternoon. Still no email returned re same room. New room dirty floor that you find out by sitting in bed and seeing black rubbish on white sheets. Dirty shower with hair stuck on wall of shower. I have been using Ibis Budget hotels regularly and for a considerable period of time. For some reason refrigerators are in some rooms and not others. I do use the refrigerator when I stay at your hotels. The standards at the various Ibis Budget hotels has seriously decreased over the past 5 years. I am seriously considering using your hotels again and whether I cancel my membership wit Accor and use other chains. Regards Vic G.

When I booked via all.accor.com website for 3 stay periods. The booking said check-in time after 12pm, and the phone waiting recording message also said I could check in around the clock. I have 3 bookings since I am taking my parents interstate in between. I have informed your receptionist that I can only arrive back at the hotel for my second booking check-in day would be after midnight at the time when I was checking in with my first booking. The receptionist said I can call during the day on my next booking check-in day to arrange it, and I can pick up the key card from the nightkeeper whenever I arrive. But on 16 Feb 2026, I called the phone number that was provided, and it was not answering since morning. I kept calling about 10 times until late afternoon. Later in the afternoon, someone finally called me back. I asked him to check me in, and I will pick up the key card when I arrive after midnight. That person who was on the phone told me can only pick up the key card at the latest before 12 midnight. It was making a big deal for me since my family and I are all away, and I have to get someone to come down to the hotel to pick up the key card during the day. It is totally not acceptable that your booking detail never mentions that it can only allow to check in before 12 midnight, and your phone waiting recording message said can check in around the clock, and your receptionist gave me the instruction to check in after 12midnight. It was the same on my third booking. I have to send someone to the hotel to pick up the key card during the day.

Glad that the staff came to our 'rescue' after we called since we arrived late and way pass closing hours. Cleanliness however is quite a concern.

The location is not very good, the room and bed sheets stinks badly, poor service, shouting noise from outside the room and knocking the doors whole time, too expensive but not worth it.
