We had booked an overnight stay to celebrate a friends birthday as a "girls weekend" away after 2 years of lockdown and were looking forward to a mini break. However when we went to the pool and spa at 4pm we were told that it will be closed all weekend due to an incident that occured. This was extremely dissapointing as we were looking forward to using these facilities as part of or our relaxation. The staff member advised us to talk to reception as to how we could be compensated. At checkout, when we mentioned it to the reception we were then advised that the pool reopened at 7pm the previous night and no one bothered to advise us of this. The staff member was very UNapologetic about this and could only offer us 10% off our next stay which was extremely disappointing. Although the hotel is well located and designed, the experience was extremely underwhelming and is not something I would reccomend to friends. I would also not to return here due to the experience we had and how poorly it was managed.

I had an excellent stay. The hotel room was extremely clean and comfortable. The parking was a little confusing at first but then it was okay. The breakfast selection was by far the worst I have had. Minimal variety, stale bread and the plates of fruit, cheese etc weren’t filled properly. Scarce amount.
