We had a fabulous 2 night stay. The room was great. Buffet breakfasts are wonderful and Windows restaurant provide wonderful meals. All the staff were extremely helpful. The carpark instructions were missing and we did it wrong the first time and did not print a ticket. Parking is expensive. The negative side of our stay is that the carpark is not secure. We had our car broken into and items stolen. CCTV does not cover all carpark spots, we were told it is a public carpark and there are homeless people in that vicinity that often frequent that area.

Horrible location

We loved the staff. Excellent front staff reception services. I was very impressed with the services however the state of the room let the experience down. The room was old , smelt funny , the finishings were rusty and I got bitten by bed bugs on the second night. I woke up on my check out day with multiple bites on my lower back. These bites are now inflammed and dark. It will take a long time to heal. Upon looking up online from another review shared the same experience so I’m not the only one who got bit by bed bugs. Staff were excellent , even the lovely Iranian facilities operator who fixed the lighting was such a gem and was such an uplifting person however staff aside, the room was not good and definitely not worthy of a 4 star. It’s the worst Mercure I’ve been to and have had better experiences at motels in the past.
