Long time to check in only one person checking in but quite a few.staff floating around. Requested and paid for parking at check in only to get stuck at the gate when leaving unable to get out. Had to ask the car behind to reverse back, repark and go back to the desk only to be told the parking had not been paid for. Our key card was difficult to use at the room door taking many attempts to get in and also wouldnt work in after hours Mercure entrance.

Nice open lobby area and restaurant. Good sized rooms. Didn't like the adjoining room separated by a wafer thin door. Any noise or sound from next door was like it was actually in the room. Overcharged for parking which I had to fight to get back.

I am choosing not to publish this on the public platform out of courtesy. Well located. Disappointed with the roo, especially for the Mercure..rooms were very dated. No conditioner or moisturiser in room. Room attendants sent some up to my room. Service was great from the front of house to room attendants.

I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent stay at Mercure Hotel during a national conference. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standard I would expect from the Mercure brand or a conference accommodation venue. Room 3322 and Mercure side is outdated and in need of repair and renovation (eg. worn out carpet, paint, lighting). I felt like I was staying at a motel. In addition, my room dinner service tray remained outside my room for almost 48 hours before being collected, which negatively affected the overall presentation of the area. I was also concerned about privacy, as a staff member entered my occupied room to deliver a requested item without appropriate communication or regard for guest privacy. During my stay, my swipe card unexpectedly deactivated, leaving me locked out of my room and requiring a return to the front desk for a replacement card. The checkout experience was also disappointing. The front desk staff member assisting me was not logged into the computer system and moved to another computer without advising me to follow, reflecting poor communication and customer service. Overall, the stay was disappointing and below expectations for a Mercure property. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve both the facilities and guest experience for future visitors.
