We wanted a hotel near enough to Melbourne city but with parking as we were hiring a car. Mercure at Albert Park was the perfect spot

The Mecure Albert Park provided a great experience with a spacious room, beautiful location and lovely breakfast buffet. One point has been deducted for the very thin walls that meant we could hear the noisy family in the next room for much of the night.

Underwelming I had to plug the tv in and it was a contortionist twist to plug it in on the floor behind the high cabinet and was very dirty behind there. The remote took ages to turn the tv to on after that and we couldn’t turn it off. Small bathroom too. The view was an old roof. Took a while to find the entrance when arriving and it felt like we were the only people in the place - weirdly.
