We had a very unpleasant trip - the aircon in our room initially did not work, and then started pumping a horrible chemical smell into our room. It was very unpleasant and staff were unhelpful. We were eventually moved rooms at midnight. Overall, the service was very poor - the value for money is terrible, as there don't seem to be enough staff to look after the high volume of guests, and the internal systems are useless (it took almost 3 hours for anyone to respond to requests, we were consistently hung up on by the front desk, and amenities like the iron etc were broken and never replaced). Additionally, we attempted to book room service, but it was never delivered and I am still (almost two weeks later) chasing a refund. It is REALLY hard to find assistance, with calls and emails both unanswered.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Albert Park. The staff were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to make everything feel special. A huge shout-out to Aku, who was fantastic and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Excellent check in procedure. Upgraded room also. The bed was 100% comfortable. But, worn out carpet, hole in vinyl chair and shower over a bath was not what I was expecting. Ordered room service and was delivered quickly but did not meet expectations. Charcuturie board was not $30 plus in value or quality.

Great stay. Great location. Windows restaurant had a great view and good breakfast buffet. My room and bathroom were clean. Great that there was a large room to leave suitcases before/after check-in/check-out. Helpful staff. Housekeeping was great - the only feedback for them was that I wish I had the toilet paper roll and the drinking glasses replaced. When I did call for more toilet paper, it arrived promptly after so that was good. Other than that, I loved how clean housekeeping kept my room and bathroom. One feedback for the hotel... some hotels have little cards that guests can leave housekeeping when they don't want their towels replaced daily. I am always happy to re-use my towels and so the card might be a good way to minimise laundry (if they are replaced daily at your hotel). Thank you for a wonderful stay.
