Staff had poor knowledge of diet requirements, for buffet breakfast only offered yoghurt and fruit for gluten free on 2 occassions, then on last day offered GF bread, but spreads were shared in large container and contaminated with gluten, should have saved money, very dissatisfied I've had better options in 3rd world country

just really tired and overpriced. carpet was very stained and dirty. asked for another room - carpet again extensively stained. asked for a clean room a third time and finally got an ok room with mostly unstained carpet and properly cleaned. public areas all looked like they need a good vacuum. staff nice. cafe nice.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. There was loud noise from adjacent building works throughout the day and night, directly beneath our balcony, making sleep extremely difficult. The king bed was comfortable on one side, however the other side dipped significantly in the centre, around 200mm, making it feel more like sleeping in a hammock than a bed. This was extremely hard on my back. We are in our 60s and I have a disability, so rest and basic assistance are required. On checkout, we called ahead requesting help with our bags, which never arrived. When the valet brought our car, the keys were handed over with no offer of assistance loading luggage, which was disappointing given our circumstances and the service level expected. The room itself was neat and clean, however the combination of noise, bedding issues and lack of support means I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Overuse of emails ... l just got cut off in my previous response!!!! Had an email not answered ... when l finally phoned up and got through got told to read another email ... when at dinner at the restaurant got an email to say why don't l try dinner at the restaurant ... also loud hoon driving around waterfront is beyond belief ... what a bad image ... it's not a user friendly place and charges a lot ... needs to be more people friendly. Food is great.
