Staff were excellent on reception and really attentive. The foyer area was modern and bright. The room was really spacious with great views over Albert Park. The bed was really comfy and the room set up was really pleasant. Perhaps slight niggles would be the bathroom and the sofa were a little dated and there needed to be better lighting for applying makeup. However, the shower was great in the morning and check out was really easy.

Upon check in, was given no directions of where pool or gym was. When we arrived in our room, no water or anything complimentry whereas my friends received nice things in their room (we are both accor members). I ordered an omlete for breakfast, after 45 minutes I asked where it was. The waitress said it wont be long, she obviously forgot. Paid for Carpark, $30 when we checked out… got to the exit boom gate and it wouldnt let us out, needed to call the hotel to explain that the car park was asking for an extra $55. The location is great but the Service could be a lot better.

The service was excellent as always. The only limiting factor was that the air conditioning in my room was barely able to keep the room at a reasonable level. I did report this to the front desk and maintenance was quick to respond. Unfortunately, it was a room with a very old air con system and it was working as well as it could but it was still too warm for my taste.
