The hotel has a great location, close to several good dining options, and it is easy to get there by both ferry and tram, which makes it very convenient. Unfortunately, the pool experience was disappointing. The pool is not child-friendly, as the water is far too cold. This was particularly frustrating because the pool was the main reason I chose this hotel. The temperature was around 26°C, but it felt even colder. For comparison, public swimming pools in Denmark are typically around 27°C. In my opinion, the temperature should be at least 28°C to feel comfortable—and ideally 29–30°C if it is meant to provide a proper spa-like experience. As it is now, it feels more like a standard public swimming pool than a relaxing spa.

A very happy stay at Novotel. Great location close to the Bosphorus with multiple restaurants & bars within a short walking distance. Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and reactive to our needs. Only negative was discovering that the health spa (sauna, steam room) were split between male and female, which we were not aware of us before we booked.

The staff were very friendly and helpful -- I had forgotten the adapter for my plugs, but my worries were immediately dispelled by the person on reception, who handed me a universal adapter. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly too.
