ibis Styles Paris Saint Denis Plaine Hotel 3 stars

It is below expectation. The air-conditioning system was faulty. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. There were flies on the food. The bathroom shower was dripping like... it was just not a shower. They need to work on the shower pressure

Room temperature was high even if their was air-to air heat pump running. Either it was broken or setting were wrong, but it did not cool room temperature. I heard only noice. My room was 114 if I remember right. When I took a shower, some of the water went to the floor. I do not know how it was cleaned away, because their was no drainage.

We had a nice room (212) and comfortable bed. Everything was clean and worked well. The overnight car parking was very useful. We didn't have breakfast.

The room was nice and clean, we loved the super silent AirCon on very hot nights, perfect to have a great night to rest. The best were comfy as well. Breakfast was very average, especially on a full weekend like ours. But most hotels now have 12 € breakfast so can't complain. Overall very satisfied.

Good site, good continental breakfast, helpful staff. Shame no restaurant. Room air con was very poor in all rooms - on full low temp but hard to sleep.

No air conditioner... repair technician entered room without knocking or identifying himself... air conditioner was not repaired, was not offered another room, only given a reciprocating fan... no acceptable area to work from... room was not serviced on 2nd day (stayed for 3 days)...

Breakfast options were poor and did not provide any variation day to day. The bed was comfortable although very hot due to the plastic mattress protector making sleeping difficult. In spite of hanging a “do not disturb” sign on the door my room was attended. I prefer to use the same towels as I am conscious of the impact of laundry services on the environment. This was not an option.

A very nice bed. Perfectly firm for my body. Otherwise the room was to warm and quite a lot of noise from the road. Only a very small trash bin in the bathroom. No one in the room. The table was to small to enable to work with the computer. I did try to work in the reception but it was very warm and no comfortable table and chairs. Friendly staff but some problem to speak English. I did like fresh orange juice. Only baguette at the breakfast. Had hoped for some more type of bread. Something darker. I didn't like the restrictions on the WiFi.

Nice cleaning personnel, helpful desk. Requiring payment before even seeing the room, rather strange. Certainly enough for business travel.

I arrived quite late and whether it was because I was one of the last to arive for the night and the hotel was full I am not certain but I was allocated room 99 which was not in the main body of the hotel and was accessed from the car park. It appears it may have been one of two extra rooms created out of what was formerly storage or kitchen space. The night was cold b t the temperature was maintained in the room however the noise level was not and when the staff arrived in the early hours to prepare the breakfast in the kitchen area I was awoken to the sounds of this happening at around 5.30 am. The wifi reception in the room was very poor and was non existent in the morning. Interestingly I had a signal from the Hotel Wilson which I think was the former name of the hotel but no password to connect to it. The staff were friendly and the room itself, despite being detached from the hotel was large and warm with a good sized en suite. I Overall if the two rooms (99 and 100) at the rear of the hotel are to be used then improved sound proofing and better wifi needs to be introduced.

Unclean, poor customer service, very unsavory clientele. Telephone in room did not work. Flooding in room from unknown source.

I liked the room and the beds. The concierge staff was friendly and quick. The cleaning staff ignored the “please do not disturb” sign twice, in a really disturbing and intrusive way. I got the feeling if I don’t open the door they will just come in. I was really annoyed because of that because well I didn’t want to be disturbed. The bathroom was the most disgusting bathroom I ever entered. The whole bottom of the shower, parts of the shower and sink area was covered by mold. It was not just a bit mold between the tiling. The mold was everywhere. And it was super smelly, I couldn’t close the bathroom door when I was inside because of the disgusting smell and I had to cough all the time. To offer a guest a bathroom like this is in my opinion unreasonable since mold - especially when there’s more of it - is harmful to ones health. I was really disappointed since I‘m actually „a fan“ of the ibis chain and i was happy to stay at an ibis styles but this was just nauseating and a bad experience I wish I didn’t have to make.
