Between Libourne and St Emilion Standard Accord Ibis amenities, A bit dated , needs upgrading, but clean and fonctionnal.

Clean good sized room. Excellent service in restaurant. Reasonable choice of food in the evening. Breakfast average. Grounds could be tidier. Reception very poor. Despite booking months in advance, and having confirmed our names over the phone the day before, the receptionist had great difficulty finding our booking and appeared to imply it was our fault.

Poor Hotel but Good Restaurant

Dickie Friends - Confirmed reviews ALL

Booked and paid for room more than 6 months in advance. Arrived just after 18:00 hours to be told that hotel was full (but French woman in front of us at Reception had just booked 3 rooms instantly!). Ended up with a disabled room which had not been properly cleaned and smelt awful. Receptionist on duty on 29 September 22 was incompetant and impolite, taking about 15 minutes to process every check-in and refusing to look at my smart phone reservation. When I complained about the disabled room she said it was OK as it was only for one night! If the La Boucherie restaurant had not been good (service and food) despite having 2 big parties, I would have formally complained to the Manager. Will not be using Ibis hotels again unless desparate.
