me and my family of 4 (2 young children) stayed one night while on a road trip across Germany. Room was clean and cosy. The staff was friendly and spoke perfect English. The only drawback was that the elevator was broken and there was only one in the entire hotel so we were left with no choice but carry our bag, children and pram all the way up to the 4th floor. Another unpleasant surprise was finding out that the parking was not included and would cost 12€ per night. There was probably a note about it somewhere on the booking page but I would expect that to be included at no extra charge as is standard in every other hotel I stayed at.

Location good, bed is not comfortable and I was surprised to have to pay 14 € per night for parking.

To be honest, you have a disappointed family here. Planning our way back from Greece to France by car, we had agreed with our kids that the last day of the road trip would be lighter for them and we would spend the whole morning in the swimming pool before taking the road again. We had specifically chosen your hotel because of the swimming pool and the fact that it is opened from 6am to 10pm. This was the main reason of our stay in the hotel. What a disappointment it was, when after the breakfast, at 10am to realize that 2 days a week the pool is closed for 3 hours from the moment breakfast ends till after check out time at 1pm, which left no time for the kids to enjoy it. This should be clearly stated in the website to avoid seeing our kids’ face in tears as they were waiting for this moment after a 2500km road trip. They were ready with their swimsuits and could not stay in place after we had asked the receptionist if we could go for a swim and she told us yes, it’s opened every day from 6m. After that, as a parent, having to explain that there will be no swimming because they are cleaning it is more than tricky. Rest of the trip did not go well because of that.. please, in the future, when giving the opening hours of the swimming pool, warn that it’s not opened for 3 hours twice a week, it will avoid many misunderstandings and disappointments. Thank you

At check-in, staff was very friendly and my status was quickly acknowledged. Also my kids were welcomed and received a small present. A big difference compared to my stay last year in the same time period when the staff seemed to be very stressed and grumpy. Despite being clean, the room was very dusty, even on strange places like on top of the glasses and the water kettle. It gave the impression the room has not been used for a while. The common areas like the bar, terrace and swimming pool are ok but a bit outdated. I believe these areas can be made much more attractive with minor effort (especially the outside terrace). Breakfast was pretty standard, but fresh, clean and nice staff.
