Staff was impolite and had little knowledge

Room was okay, but check in and check out took unreasonable long due to the incompetence of the staff. The restaurant was also closed and this was not mentioned anywhere during booking, forcing us to go outside for dinner late on the evening.

1) The air-conditioning does not work so good. It's loud and heat generation is not accurate and stable. 2) the double bed is the smallest I've ever slept with compared to >30 different Accor hotels. Even ibis hotels have bigger bed. However, the staff are very nice, professional, and helpful!

I did not understand why there was a coffee machine in the room but there were no cups, coffee, sugar and other objects in the preparation of coffee, if it is just a decorative object then I understand.

Good hotel. Staff members are friendly, rooms are nicely decorated. A little disappointing was that the restaurant was closed in the evening, so we had to go out even when we were tired.

It was a nice stay in the hotel. Our bed and that of our son on the couch were made and all was comfy. The room itself was too cold though, we couldn't quite understand why it was so cold since the aircon was off. You really needed to put on long pants inside despite the 30 degrees outside. The garden are with the play area was lovely.

Very dated. A little disappointing.

This hotel doesn't stand up well to other Accor properties in the same price range. The location is 8seful for playmobil funpark, but it seems this provides a steady flow of visitors that do not require much effort from the hotel. There is absolutely no way this is a four star hotel. We arrived after a long drive only to be informed that children over 6 needed FFP2 masks and a negative test to be allowed in the hotel. This is of course fine, but since it differs from the general rules for Germany, an email, or even a clear notice outside the hotel would have been better so that we could prepare, rather than having to sit outside for 15 minutes to carry out the tests. The explanation that "these are the rules in Bavaria" is fine, but chances are most hotel guests are travelling and are unaware of these specific rules. After this the exterior and interior of the hotel were extremely dated and looked a bit miserable. The rooms were fine, but no mention of an upgrade (do Accor still bother?) Despite my gold status. Breakfast was pretty chaotic with staff not really managing to keep food stations filled due to the sheer volume of guests. I booked two rooms since we are two adults and three children, so this was not a cheap stay and I'm the end I found it quite a disappointing experience. We won't be back to this property.

Hotel Fuerther Hotel Mercure Nuernberg West is just of the highway. When traveling to Austria this is just over half way on our trip. On walking distance there is the street with restaurants, so after a short walk of about 20-30 minutes you can choose you pick of food. The rooms are silent the noise of the highway is effectively cancelled out. At breakfast there is plenty of choice and on request you get lactose free milk and eggs the way you like it. Even the omelet they made lactose free. It is the perfect start of our holiday.

Firstly the hotel has all facilities on offer on the website of Accor, ALL, Google, etc. so arriving here and not being informed that there is NO services is unacceptable. I Expected this information to be given to me before arrival so I could change to A local IBIS which offers the same services and costs less

Dear Guest, We appreciate that you have given us feedback on your most recent hotel stay. First of all I would like to say sorry for the circumstances. We are giving our best to enable all our guests a satisfying stay and I would like to take a stance on your comments: We concede the point regarding the lack of information before your arrival about the missing services. Due the COVID Pandemic and the recent opening from our hotel two weeks ago, we are offering Accomondation, Breakfast and Conference at the moment. If the bookings are developing positively we are looking forward to open all that as soon as possible. Nevertheless we have to inform our guests better. We immediately changed our description on the internet and furthermore talked to the whole team, especially the reception staff, to communicate better when guests check in. We decided to remove things like for example newspaper, minibar drinks etc. to avoid possible ways of infection with COVID. Of course you can get all these amenities at the reception, but my colleagues have to inform you the right way. Compendius I have to say that we are very sorry for all the grievances and I would like to promise you, that we took your feedback very serious and that we have talked about it with all responsible colleagues to avoid something like that in the future. Our hotel is known as very hospitable and we are giving our best every day to show our guests how important they are and how glad we are to welcome them after the long time of shut down. For the average cost of over €150 per night for room and breakfast I would have expected better level of accommodation. I was checked into floor 3 but the button on the lift didn't operate to floor 3.Breakfast was poor to average standard with children allowed to lie on the floor with other guests trying to enjoy breakfast. I don't expect this for the price paid. There was no ice available in the bar for drinks at night. This is surely something that can be arranged with some planning.

Arrived ca. 22:30 to be told that there was no room (due to a technical problem, something with the plumbing or so) and that I had to go to another Hotel. Not far away, just a few kilometers by car. I do have a Accor BUSINESS PLUS Card, so the Hotel had all the info it needed to contact me earlier in the day ... Sorry guys, never again at your hotel! BTW ... the hotel you sent me to is not worth writing home about either, but so what, I've survived it.
