Disappointing. You claimed to have air-conditioning, but it doesn’t work and I’m not sure anyone even really tried to make it work. I had to move rooms to the back of the hotel to a quieter place where I could open the window. I like the view to the front to the Insel , But to keep the window open all night makes it impossible to sleep due to the noise from the trains passing by and the church clock bells beginning at 7 am. If you don’t want to allow your air-conditioning to work after a certain time of the year, then do not put it in the room amenities as operating. This was an extremely warm series of days while I was there. Pretending that you have air-conditioning is not hospitable. Just tell the truth that you don’t want to run it and let people decide whether or not they’re going to stay there. You’ve decreased the level of service available to the rooms. You used to have a system where drinks were obtained from the fridge that was placed beside the front desk. Guess had a limit of two or three bottles per day. there was water beer soft drinks now you have diminished service into one bottle of water in the room per day. When I asked what happened to that fridge, I was met with confusion as if they forgotten it had ever been there. I found that very odd. There is a concession area where you can buy a bottle of water for your room, which I needed to do Sunday night as there was nothing open in town. At the very least you could be reasonable about the prices. A bottle of water was €4.50. That price is shocking given that it’s there supposedly as a service for Your guests. There is rarely any restaurant service available For lunch or dinner anymore. And the bar is rarely open either at least not while I was there. I was offered a free drink, but there was never a time where I was in the hotel where the bar was open. Lastly, on the website you offer a package for breakfast and high-speed special Wi-Fi with extra bandwidth which increases the cost of the room per night. When I arrived, I was told that this package does not exist because there is no extra or premium Wi-Fi at the hotel. Then the next morning when I checked with the morning staff, I was told that there was premium Wi-Fi and as I had to change my room anyways, Mr. Pinto was going to leave me the password for when returned to change my room. When I returned to change my room, Silka informs me again that there is no special Wi-Fi. When I check out, the day manager seems confused about the Wi-Fi but indicates there is no special Wi-Fi. He gave me free parking to compensate. If you do not have a premium Wi-Fi, then do not put it in the offers for room selection. I was disappointed that you got rid of any English language television stations. Used to have a great selection. And once again, your attempted cost saving has lost you a guest. Your efforts to make the hotel less appealing are working. It’s a shame because I used to enjoy the hotel because it had a level of service and friendliness. It’s a shadow it’s former self.

Dear Mrs K., You have been coming to our hotel for years and you know that there is a lot of noise from the railway and guests in front of the hotel on the Mainin side. The fact that the air conditioning is no longer on is due to the weather. Since the beginning of October, when the temperatures are cooler, the heating has been on, but this can also be regulated. We haven't had an English-language TV channel for years. Our internet has been so stable for years that we no longer need the paid access. We are sorry that we could not inform you well. You were already informed about this when you checked in. You booked the drinks in the minibar in previous stays, which is why the room was €30.00 more expensive than the standard room. The fridge next to reception was a Covid exception so that we had to go into the rooms as little as possible. If you want the drinks in the room then please book a privilege room on future stays.
