The bedroom was fine overall, not great not terrible. The hot water situation was unacceptable though: the hot water tank is only 50L, which barely works for 1 person, even less for 2 people that his room supposedly accommodates for. We were not informed of this before booking, or when we checked in. When we asked about this to the desk, the team said this was a known problem. They tried to kickstart the hot water system so that water would start heating again and be hot within 45-120mn, but they ended up turning it off entirely.

This hotel is so underrated ! We had a fabulous stay . The rooms are lovely and clean , functional , with kitchenette , Coffee making, microwave and grille , plates cups etc , great hot water for showers, the beds comfortable and the house keeping staff are lovely , helpful , friendly and approachable . The reception staff are warm , friendly and professional and are always helpful and knowledgeable. Check in was pleasant and positive . The rooms with balconies are well worth it . The location . The road and parks works as mentioned in previous reviews are finished . There is an amazing landscaped park across the road which goes for 4-6 blocks with the new Museum for Modern art (200 mts away and opening soon ) and a large library. Family facilities and playgrounds. There are bike lanes each side . Plaza Garibaldi is also 200 mts away ( 3 minutes walk) . Old Nice is mmm 400 mts away 6 minutes walk . You enter via the northern end . There are restaurants, convenience shops, food take aways ,boulangerie etc all around the corner Tram and bus stops are only 3 minutes walk away Castle Hill ( 7 minutes walk) or Port Lympia ( 10 minutes walk) The promenade des Anglais and the beach ( Mediterranean) is an easy 16 minute magical walk via Old Town . We loved our stay of 28 days . Platinum members receive complimentary breakfast on weekends. Coffee , baguette, croissants, fruit, cheeses , some meats and eggs and a lovely friendly staff member . Value for money at this wonderful hotel.
