I have stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in the winter time. It's located on the famous Promenade des Anglais. You can touch the beautiful sea breeze only by walking across the road opposite the hotel, and you can stroll around the Nice old town and Massena Square nearby. The facilities in the room were good, but I unfortunately haven't got the slippers this time as they said it ran out of it because it's quite cold when you stand or walk on the floor in the toilet.

A nicely located hotel with a beautiful setting in front of the sea. There are plenty of local amenities, and is only a 15 minute taxi ride. The room was really nice, clean. Received a welcome note from the hotel. Staff were friendly.

Great location, beachfront rooms with balcony worth the extra money, great staff and a minute's walk to the flower market, huge choice of cafes, bars and restaurants, squares and narrow streets of Old Town.

Great room at front with balcony but not soundproofed so road noise a nuisance. Would have thought that at €140 per night that breakfast should be included. Staff were great.

Great size room and huge bed. Got upgraded to privelege room. Nespresso machine in room, bathrobe etc. Very very good breakfast. Very good value for standard especially in Nice. Kept forgetting to top up the tbags, milk, etc each day but just asked reception and they gave us them straight away. Very clean, attractive rooms

Everything else was fine but I really didn't like the security deposit thing. I travelled a lot and stayed in different hotels but was never asked to deposit money (credit card) as security. This was very awkward at your hotel

We were given a room in the back of the hotel and it was very loud. Trash cans being emptied in the morning and a construction project going on.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mercure. One note of feedback was the temperature settings in the hallway and breakfast area we’re far too high. It needed to be cooler. Otherwise we rated the hotel highly.

As usual -a very nice Hotel - ! And it is OK to ask all Staff - if something is missing or need to be borrowed for the Room. This time we stayed on 125 - small Room but ok - (Next time i March 2020 I ordered got the favored Room 123 ! )
