Well located hotel. I am eligible for upgrade given my status. The staff said there were no upgrades available. I checked the app and I could see an upgrade room available. Surprised why it wasn’t given. And I got given a room which was very dark. But I did get changed to another room which was better. The temperature control is not good at all. It felt hot even when the air conditioning was on. The sheets were not changed even once during my stays for 5 nights. The breakfast is basic. I requested for iron one of the evenings and couldn’t get one. Very basic facilities and average stay.

It was a very nice stay for us. The Hotel has the best location, in front of the Promenade des Anglais, near some very good restaurants, and shops. The center is also available by walk in 10 minutes. All the staff were great and helpfull, especially the breakfast waitresses. The breakfast selection was great and delicious. It made a good start for our mornings. The room basically was nice, it was enough for a family of 3, but unfortunatelly here we have to mention some disadvantages. The hotel has NUXE soaps and conditioner, but very low quality of the toiletpaper.(?) The bathroom door should be renovated or changed. The shower has lots of mold in the corners. ( The HK made everyday a really good job it is not their fault, the silicones should be changed more often. ) The hanger on the bathroom door is also not useble, we cannot put our wet towels on it, it's always fall down. Also there was not so many possibility to hang out our wet things after we were on the beach. Overall we had a really good stay in your Hotel, we most likely comming back anytime, and we recommended also for our friends and family :)

- We were not informed of the road closures due to Tour de France (not hotel's fault) and therefore couldn't access the property via taxi having 2 young children and lots of baggage in tow. An email reminder when booking would have helped as we would have stayed at another Accor property that was accessible by taxi. - Despite Platinum status front desk gave our rooms away to another guest and therefore we ended up without rooms next to each other - One of the rooms extremely damp and musty

We have stayed at the Mercure a number of times. Its position is unrivalled and there has been a stylish upgrade to the Reception and breakfast room. Our room was looking tired and dated. Small points (not mentioned at the hotel): one of the bedside lights was insecure; it was difficult to turn off the light over the wardrobe; the bathroom door could not be fully opened due to the position of the bed; we had to request replacement tea bags. Decorators were on the stairs which became something of an obstacle course. They were, however, friendly and helpful. We will look forward to experiencing the refurbishment in due course.

Fast email reply, check in receptionist was good, but hotel room was just average, and there was no water drainage inside the bathroom so water just stay on the floor

The classic room that was pictured on the site or no resemblance to the one I was given. I could barely get my suitcase between the bed and the wall. It was ridiculously small smaller than the room pictured on the website. I have pictures that I can send you.

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel in February. The hotel needs to be refurbished, as the missing baseboards and tattered carpet are unsightly. Despite the cosmetic issues, the room was quiet, and had nice extras like a kettle and a luggage rack. Be warned, there is no lift. Our room was at the top of a narrow spiral staircase, which would have been trickier with larger luggage. We loved walking out the front door to the view of the sea and spending time walking around the old town. The hotel was convenient enough to use public transport to and from the airport. I will happily book here again as long as the prices stay reasonable.

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff especially Shirleen in reception and Gentima in the breakfast room were very helpful and efficient. They were both a pleasure to chat with. The views from our balcony were brilliant especially since we were very lucky with the weather. The position of the hotel was perfect for the cafes and restaurants in the old town. We would definitely stay here again.
