Great service for a late night check in. Room that was initially given to us lacked any character, paint job was wearing off and sheets were super thin and uncomfortable mattress and no headboard. Hotel centrally located in a nice area of Nice and near to a supermarket and the main square. Second night we requested a different room due to space constraints from the original booking, but the super reception arranged an upgraded privilege room, which had plenty of space. However, the privilege room lacked a balcony which the smaller room did have. The ac in the room was lacking some blades and was dirty all around, so needed some cleaning. The amenities in the bathroom were nice and smelled of honey which I loved. However, just before checking out I noticed on my side of the bed a colony of bugs and ants and I immediately called reception, which the exterminator examined and determined they were ants and other bugs. Anyways, least to say I wasn’t pleased but happy to leave the establishment. Furthermore, filtered tap water (cold and sparkling) was available in the dining area for all the guests of the hotel to use which was a nice touch. Sadly, I won’t be staying in this hotel again as it should be rated 3 stars and major TLC to the rooms.

My reservation was duplicated by mistake in the booking system and I was charged twice. The manager at reception refused to help and blame me to have booked twice. He didn't believe my version and told me that I could have been lying. he refused to call the booking centre to check and asked me to do so. The issue was finally resolved but my holiday was spoiled by the accident and that the rude and unhelpful service. The room was very small and not very clean. Water is only available at the fountain at reception and often no clean glasses were available.

Good base from which to explore Nice and surrounding countryside.

Well located offering easy access to the bustling downtown area, which has lots of boutiques, restaurants, bars and diverse tourist attractions. Friendly, helpful staff, and the rooms are clean, air conditioned, and free hi-speed wifi. Decor is tired, and would benefit from being freshened up. Reasonable breakfast, but expensive against nearby cafes.

Really central location The air conditioner stopped working twice and they fixed it, A towel that should be clean arrived really dirty . At the exit they tried to dress us with 2 breakfasts even though we didn't eat
