Madam W., Thank you for your response. However, we are very surprised to hear from you. No comments were made to us during your stay. We could have spoken with you in person. It is a shame to give us such a rating, knowing that our crew present 24 hours a day does not spare its efforts to make your stay pleasant. We are still less happy to find thanks to you for our special situation, in the heart of the Corsair city. Thomas - Quartier-Maître

Excellent location but room let us down, placed in cabin 1. No air con so room was boiling, one coffee and wouldn’t give us any more, we’re woken up various times through the night because we were at the front door, people outside at 4 am sorting their car out and not being quiet, and to finish it off breakfast was horrendous. I’d 100% book elsewhere

The hotel is ideally situated to explore the old St Malo town but you have to accept the small rooms and tight staircase.

The room was small for two, the fixed table rather awkward. Everything was very clean. Needed more towels. It's brilliantly located but in a noisy area. Had to leave the windows open for ventilation but couldn't sleep because of people shouting until the early hours. Breakfast was good. Service was attentive. Needs a parking garage for bikes!

Dear Gill, Thank you for your feedback in our guestbook. I quote: Everything was very clean, Service was attentive, Breakfast was good We look forward to welcoming you back to Saint-Malo. Nicolas - Bosco

Anonymous Solo - Confirmed reviews ALL

The hotel has adopted a nautical theme with sea and sailing motifs and staff wearing traditional Breton T shirts. This makes it feel more personal than being part of a big hotel chain, which it is. Rooms are called cabins and I stayed in cabin 23 in the annex which was quiet and enabled a good nights sleep. I was surprised as the small streets of the old town are busy all the time. The annex has the smallest lift that I’ve come across so far in my travels through France. It’ll take 1 x person & 1 x luggage at a time. My room was clean and well equipped. No tea, coffee, water provided. There is no aircon which normally isn’t a problem but it was unseasonably hot during my stay. The staff are all efficient, friendly and helpful. Take a map when offered! Paper maps are offered and had one to locate the places of interest and plot a route to cover as many as possible. You can miss out on some astonishing historic buildings etc if you just use your phone to go from A to B. Brekkie is included and within stones throw there are many eateries and cafes. The city wall is mere meters away to take a ramparts walk around the perimeter.

Dear Lisa, Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted to have been able to help ensure that your stay in Malouine went so well. We look forward to welcoming you on board during your next visit to Malouine. Kind regards, Nicolas - Bosco

The streets of St Malo were extremely busy and unfortunately there was a lot of noise during the night. The hotel has a good location and I would stay again at a quieter time of year. Nicholas on reception is very helpful. No air conditioning, only a fan
