We had a nice one night stay at the Ibis historic centre hotel in Saint-Malo. The place was clean, the location was wonderful, and the front desk people were wonderful. Really helpful and friendly. Made us feel like people and not a source of income. Pretty special these days.

Superb hotel within the ramparts of St Malo. Views of the port and the historic city. A wonderful maritime-themed decoration. Comfortable and well equipped rooms. Excellent bedding. Staff very welcoming, who went above and beyond all notions of normal service. Copious and delicious breakfast. A great stay all round. It rained throughout our stay so it was always nice to come back to this cosy hotel. On the downside , narrow stairs and a very narrow lift.
