Due to the extremely inclement weather, we arrived at the hotel wet and cold three hours earlier than planned. The staff were most obliging, our room was made ready and we were given immediate access and our baggage was taken care of. The rooms were clean and well appointed and the public areas were warm and cosy.

Our stay was overall very nice, however I was expecting a room upgrade as a Gold Member also the parking space is too little and should be free for hotel guests

It’s a lovely hotel with lots of character. Charging for the small car park is a bit naughty. Rooms are quaint and individual but bathrooms should be a little more private.
