This Ibis exceeded my expectations, from the moment I checked-in to the moment I left. The young man that checked me in was very friendly and accommodating, the room was larger and nicer than I expected, and well insulated for sound. The A/C was appreciated. The bathroom was very nicely appointed and clean. Very comfortable bed, nice TV, everything to make me feel comfortable.

Stayed total of 5 nights. Was not clear on website that hotel's lift did not go to the top floor, where allocated room was located. Had to climb up stairs with luggage. Room entrance lobby smelled damp, suspected leak.

We stayed 4 nights and visited many of the museums and other places of interest. For us everything was within walking distance. The rooms are modern like all Ibis Styles hotels. The lights in the room were a little too powerful and "cold white". The shower valve was terrible, very difficult to adjust the temperature and the temperature varied all the time. A thermostat valve should be used, it also saves a lot of water as you get the desired temperature at once. The breakfast was good and especially the lady working in the breakfast room was very friendly and service minded

We had two bookings for Madrid in that month but the first was severely disrupted by air travel issues and we had to cancel. The Styles Prado team took all the stress away by being flexible in rearranging our plans and even gave us a friendly treat when we did catch up on the second booking. That was on top of the Hotel being a superb location for the cultural area of the Barrio de las Letras and all its quirky attractions. We won't look anywhere else for a return visit to Madrid.

The room was very tiny. Felt claustrophobic.

We are sorry to hear that the room did not feel comfortable for you. You booked one of our individual rooms, which are all interior and more compact in size. For this reason, they are offered at a significantly lower rate than our other room categories. The room type and its characteristics are clearly and transparently indicated on all our booking platforms, so we always recommend checking the details of the selected room carefully before making a reservation. We are, however, very pleased to know that you had a positive experience with Laura. We will be delighted to share your kind words with her. Should you decide to stay with us again, we would be very happy to welcome you back. To ensure a more comfortable stay, we would recommend booking at least a standard room, which offers more space. Room clean, comfortable and a good size. Reception staff friendly and helpful. My experience was let down by my room (303) not locking automatically. It was only by coincidence that I noticed this. The reaction of the receptionist gave the impression that this is a known issue with the mechanisms. My lock was subsequently fixed but it was concerning as I might not have noticed the problem.
