Breakfast was fantastic. Fresh juices, fruit, coffee, tea, and traditional Spanish tortillas (Egg, not corn) are prepared daily. Along with loads of other food items to pick at. This hotel is in an excellent location. The neighborhood of Malasaña is hip and filled with bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. Many are literally down the block. Try La Musa two blocks away for some fresh takes on tapas, and great cocktails. The Bilbao Metro station is one block away. There you catch the #1 train which runs north to south through the center of Madrid and will take you to shopping at Gran Via and Sol stations, or take you to the Museums at Estación Del Arte. Or take the #4, which runs east to west, and can connect you to the #8 which takes you to the airport. The rooms are clean. The hot water is HOT! The staff is friendly and are easy to communicate with. And you can't beat the location. This is not a Luxury hotel. And it isn't trying to be. It is a great home base for starting your day, and roaming around the city. I highly recommend this hotel.

Leonora A. M. D. Solo - Confirmed reviews ALL

I chose this hotel for its location near the home of my son and his family. It is in a great area close to restaurants and shops and several excellent parks and museums. I didn’t book breakfast here and so I cannot comment on that aspect, but I thought the access to chilled filtered water for my water bottle was a lovely touch in the heat of Madrid. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I was disappointed that the room did not have a glass or mugs, just two paper cups and that there was no kettle or small fridge. These additions would have made the time here more pleasant. I was there for ten days and felt the room cleaning was ok but not excellent.

Dear Leonora, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed our prime location and found our staff to be friendly and welcoming. It’s great to know that you appreciated the chilled filtered water, especially in the heat of Madrid. Thanks again for your review, and I hope to welcome you back in the future for an even better stay! Best regards, Diego D. Front Office Manager

Great location for exploring Madrid. Only complaints were the slow draining sink and there seems to be mildew around the vent, on the wall and ceiling (also smells damp).

As it was my first time in Madrid, I had some reservations, but from the moment I checked in, the warm and friendly welcome from the staff was wonderful. (Special thanks to Oswaldo) We stayed in two rooms with my family. Family-friendly prices 💫 The complimentary lemon water, coffee, milk and croissants available all day on the reception floor were a lovely touch. The room and bathroom were clean, airy and practical. The air conditioning worked well; we were very comfortable even on the hottest days. The location is brilliant – you can reach many tourist attractions on foot. There are supermarkets, cafés and shops nearby. The metro and bus stops are right behind the building. We now have a home away from home in Madrid. 🇹🇷🙏🇪🇸

Dear Alp, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you felt welcomed and comfortable during your stay. Oswaldo will be delighted to know he made a positive impression on you and your family. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed our complimentary refreshments and found your rooms clean and practical. We strive to provide a cozy atmosphere for all our guests, and it sounds like we hit the mark! Our location is indeed a gem, making it easy to explore the best of Madrid. We're honored to be your home away from home, and we can’t wait to welcome you back on your next visit! Best wishes, Diego D. Front Office Manager

The walls and the door do not block any sound. There is not so much sound from the street, but you can hear *everything* in the rooms next to you and in the hallway. How do you expect people to sleep?

Dear Dennis, I'm sorry to hear that the noise affected your stay. We understand how important a quiet environment is for a good night's sleep. We would have loved for you to let us know about this situation during your stay, as we haven't received any issues or comments from other guests regarding this matter. We hope to see you soon!
