Rooms are a bit dingy with only a window into a light well - worse on lower floors. Breakfast offer was great, though unable to make use on our second visit as an early departure in the morning mean we couldn't make best use. Why are all the stairwells locked so we have to use the lifts, even for just one floor? Hope they open in an emergency!

We stayed with our 8-year old daughter who loved the shallow pool on the rooftop. We chose a room on the 8 floor which had a terrace and we enjoyed alfresco dining on a warm Madrid night when we wanted to stay in. The hotel is centrally located and all the attractions are an easy cab ride away.

Overall it was OK--not very friendly hotel for Seniors, showers to slippery, no space in the bathroom to place your things, need better ways to CAST your apps to your TV systems. Best part of the trip, your breakfast buffet. I really enjoyed the variety of foods and had fun tasting all of them. Need better instructions on how to use the shower!

My family (5 people) stayed at the Novotel for two nights before and after traveling to Valencia. The staff was very nice to my children and made us feel right at home. The breakfast, snacks, and drinks were all wonderful, especially the sangria rosada. The pool and rooftop bar were also very enjoyable. It’s in a great location as well, very walkable to retiro park and many restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. They were also very accommodating at check in and allowed my mom to have her room near ours.

Despite several email exchanges with Ms. Delphine from Reservations before my check-in—during which I updated my credit card details, identified my reservation using my booking number, and corrected the room rate to match my Accor ALL booking after her initial error—the front desk still charged me the incorrect higher rate instead of the rate that had already been confirmed.

We stayed in Madrid for 3 days. The hotel is walkable to certain areas and close to our their restaurants/cafes. We had a rental car and used the paid parking garage that was on site. The hotel room was clean. The lobby bar/restaurant is open late so that’s very much appreciated! The rooftop pool is a nice touch; the pool is small, but still nice to have!
