I was quite happy with the location, as it has the metro, and supermakets a couple steps of the hotel. not to mention all the food restaurants around the area.

Noisy, horrible night sleep but great location

It seems the windows were not noise insulated, my room was on the 4th floor, but the hotel is directly across the glass recycling bin and I would hear glass shattering until 2am, on top of cars and people shouting, so had horrible night sleep. The staff was friendly, the amenities in the room were nice, location was incredible for sightseeing and I loved the campaign to use the stairs. I would probably stay there again with a room that did not face the street, but not if I couldn’t pick and had to risk the same one.

Prices of hotels in Madrid in general seemed high to me, including at this Ibis Budget. Regardless of the price, as the name suggests, this is a budget hotel -- the amenities are not plush, but it's still clean and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located directly across the street from the Lavapies Metro station.
