The staff was great. I’m very helpful. I only had 3 bad things to comment on 1 the Rooms Shut Have a small refrigerator. 2 my shower didn’t have the rubber in the back, so water was spilled out to the floor and the drain was clogged 3 AC should be control by the room and not the establishment. Not everyone who visits comes From a tropical place. We would like the room cold.

Overall, the stay was decent: convenient location near the metro station, close to the center, and a typical comfortable Ibis room with a good bed. Socket availability was limited as usual, but there was an extension lead already provided in the room. However, check-in was an unpleasant experience. The receptionist was incompetent and handled my invoice inquiry completely wrong. Rather than double-checking with management or trying to help, the staff member simply kept insisting on incorrect information. In the end, I was proven right, but only after wasting 15 minutes having to prove my point. Staff training on basic customer service and invoicing is urgently needed.

good breakfast, comfortable room, nice staff. Perfect location for Hop on hop off bus, right at front door. Nice location across the street from Metro and Bull ring. Walking distance to many restaurants. Only issue we had was the breakfast room was flooded one morning, but staff did good job of accommodating the guests

The location of ibis Madrid Centro las Ventas is good, and the staff are very welcoming and helpful—but unfortunately, those are the only real pluses of staying here. The interior of the hotel has actually been renovated and looks nice on the surface, but the overall experience falls short. The room feels like a fancy bunker: unless you pay significantly extra for a street-facing room, your view is a sheet-metal wall directly facing neighboring rooms. It also feels like environmental standards are used as an excuse to offer minimal service at an inflated price. There is no basic fridge in the room, and the towels are terribly thin—looking like they've been washed 150,000 times.

It was fine. The door card kept playing up. Breakfast service was poor, there were missing items from the buffet and it was rather slow. Overall it's fine.

We only stayed for 2 nights but I wish we could stay longer. We had the room with a balcony with an incredible look. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel is next to a big road and metro station but the windows are keeping the noise out very well so we had a really good sleep. The reception staff was really attentive and they always smiled. :) The only thing that was a bit annoying for me is that the coffee machine doesn't work properly. Sometimes it made coffee sometimes only water came out. But maybe it was only my fault.

Positives: staff were exceptionally friendly and I was grateful to check in early Negatives: hugely overpriced for what is quite a worn property, breakfast was very cheap, overall vibes are not as nice as many other Ibis hotels I have visited

The window faces a wall. So dark and depressing No fridge, no glasses, no basket, dirty duvet. Couldn’t be worse than jail and 200€ per night

i hated that there was no toilet brush and that i didn t have a room with a balcony as i requested
