Location is outside of "the city center" but it's close to the Ventas metro stop (Red Line 2) and it has a couple of bus lines right outside, making it easy to access anywhere in Madrid. Location is also extremely convenient if you are attending a bull fight at the stadium. The staff were great. very friendly and helpful. Outside temperatures were 90+ degrees while we stayed there, and the AC was more than adequate. There was some roadwork right outside of the hotel while we were there, and the crew did a bad job installing those steel plates to cover the holes. So we heard the steel plates make noise every time a car drove over it. Annoying, but not the fault of the hotel. There is a Carrefour Express (mini supermarket) on the corner of the hotel so can get almost anything you need. This IBIS does not have mini fridge, microwave or water kettle in the room.
