The hotel is well located, with easy access to the metro, which was very convenient. However, my experience was unfortunately impacted by poor management and a very high level of noise. I stayed in room 203 at ibis Madrid Centro las Ventas. After a long trip from Brazil to Madrid, I arrived feeling unwell with the flu and really needed a few hours of rest. Unfortunately, the room was facing the Bullring, where there was ongoing construction/renovation work. The noise level was extremely high and made it impossible to rest and you also could hear the noise coming of the roons near. What was even more disappointing was the lack of understanding and sensitivity from the management regarding this situation. Overall, while the location is a strong point, the noise and how the situation was handled made the stay quite uncomfortable.
