This is the WORST hotel I have even been to. - BED BUGS - POOP stains under the table with hairs sticking to it -shower floor never cleaned - dirt everywhere -drug users outside of hotel -cigarette buds in the sink We rushed out from there the same night and will fight for a refund and report this place to health inspectors. Im afraid theres a risk to get diseases there!

Painful check-in. No one on reception when we arrived. Parked in the nearest car park that had a sign for the hotel but it was empty! Went to town until 3pm to check in but us and another family had to wait outside as we didn't have a code to get in and the people inside didn't open the door for us! Once in the family in front of us took 15 minutes to get checked in! Man on reception wanted us to pay again then he realised we had already paid! Room was warm and clean. Shower was inside the room more like you get in a caravan. Pillows were flat but got two more from reception. No tea/coffee in the room. There is a machine in reception but it wasn't great. Location was excellent to the centre of town. We did have to move our car as the car park near the hotel was closed not that you could tell as the shutters were open. We did have a problem getting out as one of the workers kept telling us not to park in here again!! Don't worry we won't ever be back! Breakfast felt like a truckers cafe but the food we had roll. cheese. cereal was good. I also lost my driving licence here I think. Tried to call and the number said incorrect. Tried the main number for Ibis and they put me through to the hotel but again the number didn't work so who knows. No one has been in touch with me. Overall great location and room fine for a night. Communication very poor and confusing. Front desk should be manned all day.

Simple, clean, comfortable rooms and the hotel is well situated near the centrum. Practical for short stays. The lack of reception makes thinks a bit complicated in terms of check in (no paper comes out of the machine when paying so you don’t have a proof of payment and you have to be very fast to take a picture of the screen to know your room nr and acces keyword because it disappears very quick) and obtaining valuable information. It is said on the webpage that parking facilities were available next to the hotel but these were temporary closed and we were not informed (I had sent an e-mail but there was no reply). Eventually we found a special on line offer at the C&A parking nearby.

As a family that frequently stay at ibis hotels, in general we are almost always either very happy or at least satisfied with our stay. However ibis budget Aachen City had been an exception to that rule. This was by far the worst ibis we visited. The room: It was not clean at all. The floor was dirty (was not vacuumed at all, not only dust but there were also bits and pieces of dead bugs), the toilet was dirty, the shower was dirty and the drain was half way clogged. The bed sheets had stains and the sheet for the additional bed was just thrown on the bed, we had to put it on ourselves. Parking - well no parking: Although it is listed that the hotel has parking, the hotel does not have parking. The park house is closed and it does not look temporary. The whole area is full with drug users, alcoholics, homeless etc and they occupy the entrance to the parking which is completely closed and covered by barricades. The reception told us to go to a private parking which costs 18EUR for 24h which is 3-5min walk away. The reception: The reception is only open for certain times of the day, so it is not easy to find someone for help in case you need something. Also the entrance door to the hotel is always open, so technically anybody can walk in. Which also does not create a safe feeling The breakfast: Way overpriced with very limited options. The only reason I give 2 and not 1 as a rating is the standard ibis budget room setup which we could find at this location as well. Unfortunately that was the only thing that was on par with what we would consider as ibis
