A very nice and friendly checkin, the lady spoke excellent English and gave our kids some welcome gifts which was a nice touch. Breakfast was very good, kids ate free so was good value, had it not been for that, it was €26 per adult which is at a level where I would probably go elsewhere, with that said it was one of the most extensive breakfasts I've seen in Germany, lots of choice and quality food. Rooms comfortable. Basement parking was between 15 to 18 euros per night, which is only marginally more than street parking, so worth using (note entrance to the car park is down the side road, first immediate right after you pass the hotel on your right, take a ticket and drive in. Pay at ticket machine everytime you exit the car park). We also ate one evening meal at the hotel and we went with the buffet, again very good, it was €36 per adult, kids were free. Also hotel very well organised re food allergies, were able to check and answer all our questions, well done Novotel!
