I'm glad I chose to spend two nights at Novotel Aachen City. It was within easy walking distance of both the train station and the city centre. My room was very comfortable, almost completely silent and great value. The ambience in the foyer and dining areas was good. I chose not to have breakfast so I can't comment on that.
