Very comfortable well-located hotel, in a walking distance to the central station and not far from the old town, shopping areas, cafes and restaurants. An opportunity to make tea in the room would have been an extra bonus, unfortunately this was not available.

We’ve arrived for a weekend in Aachen and stayed overnight in Ibis It was fine, not the best stay we’ve had though - the place had dirty windows from the inside(you could se imprints of the face and fingers), the towel had a hair hanging off of it, the bed was small and the blanket was for 1 person. One side of the bed didn’t have an outlet, which is typically there for convenience of both people staying The floor was quite dirty too, you could see crumbs here and there At the checkout they wanted to charge us for water, that we didn’t have in the room to begin with Overall the amenities are very limited (no toiletries, no fridge or kettle, no glasses), which makes it look even worse than budget alternative we’ve stayed at

Concerning the incident at checkout, we would like to clarify that water is normally provided in each room and that charges for additional services apply. We regret if this led to misunderstandings.
