From the moment we walked in the door after an incredibly long trip from Airlie Beach in Australia, after travelling from New Zealand, we felt well looked after. Our room was fabulous. The service was next to the best even though we didn’t want for anything. We did not eat in the venue, however we did have a wines in The bar. Delightful staff. Highly recommend

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. Tuyet at reception greeted us with such warmth after a long day of travel, and Min carried our bags with genuine cheer that instantly lifted our spirits. The suite itself-flamboyant, stylish, opulent yet comforting-was breathtaking, with thoughtful touches like a welcome cake, water, and card that made us feel truly spoiled. Throughout our stay, the service continued to shine. Minh's coconut coffee was delicious, Diep's guidance was thoughtful, Hai Anh's care made us feel special, and Linh at breakfast was wonderfully attentive. Nhat, the Green Fairy, added a magical touch with her knowledge and kindness. Even small gestures, like the adorable teddy bear left for our son, showed the team's thoughtfulness. He was thrilled, especially seeing his favourite Appelles toiletries stocked-he even called it "the best hotel room I've ever stayed in!" While we encountered a few minor room issues, they were handled with care, and the generous spa treatments oftered were a lovely surprise. The team's dedication and genuine warmth made every moment memorable. Watching the AFL Grand Final from our suite, with Kylie Minogue performing, was the perfect highlight to an already incredible stay. We are deeply grateful for the kindness, attentiveness, and joy your staff brought to our visit. This hotel truly sets the standard for hospitality, and we look forward to returning.

I would describe this hotel as more 4 star - but the staff are 5 star. My first suite experienced disco music from 11pm - 3am, I was moved to another suite, but unfortunately the room was damp, clothing, paper, water spilt on the table/floor did not evaporate. The biggest disappointment was the western food: beautifully presented but bland tasting. Vietnam knows how to prepare gourmet food, but this hotel did not meet a reasonable standard. The breakfast bacon, beans, potato, sausage was cold everyday. I tried to join your Accor membership twice but an error accorded each time, when mentioned at checkin, I was told Accor is not your hotel.

The breakfast experience was great. Service staff is attentive and friendly. The spread was well presented, and the ambient was good. The sound proofing in our room 608 was poor. We could hear people talking outside, traffic noise and loud music late at night. The gym was also too small and not well equipped.

Great stay. Your new rooms facing street are incredible. This property went from my least favorite to my favorite one in hoan Kiem. Especially Mr quang at check in was amazing and extremely polite and helpful throughout. Massive difference in the experience because of him and also your bell boy was extremely jind and helpful. I did not catch his name but he was there at ny check in.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at this stunning boutique hotel. The hotel is very clean and well maintained with spacious rooms and suites. We had an Opera view suite which also afforded us sumptuous breakfast options, afternoon tea and cocktails in the evening. The staff were definitely the highlight though. Every single one of them made us feel special. They have an amazing team and we can’t wait to visit again soon!

I have long been eager to stay at Hotel de l'Opéra Hanoi‑MGallery, and I finally visited it last weekend. As I may have booked a special‑rate offer, the hotel was notably restrictive when it came to honoring member benefits. I did not receive the suite upgrade that other Platinum members have reported, nor was I proactively informed of Platinum member entitlements. When I enquired at the front desk the next morning, I was told benefits would be displayed on the in‑room TV — yet I hardly watch television during hotel stays. Even the Appelles toiletries, provided in every guest room, were presented as an exclusive Platinum perk. That said, the hotel still won me over thanks to its unbeatable location: it takes less than 3 minutes on foot to reach both the Hanoi Opera House and Hoan Kiem Lake. It boasts sophisticated, stylish interiors, elegant dining venues and a delicious breakfast. In particular, the Vietnamese pho served at breakfast outshines offerings at many Michelin‑recommended restaurants.
