I called 3 days prior to arrival to confirm if I could check in 2pm, because of a business meeting I had. It was confirmed that if the room was available, we could check in early. When we got there Miguel, the greeter was extremely rigid, saying that the room was available but had to pay 50% extra to check in early (around 200 reais). I had to do the meeting on the hotel lobby because of it. When my girlfriend checked in, because I was on the meeting, she was charged more than was due, because the same person, Miguel, didn’t see that on the reservation I had used points for the reservation. We had to explicitly request a refund on checkout to correct the situation. Had stayed a few times on Novotel and Ibis, and never had a bad experience, but will think twice before staying again.

Everything was great, staff was amazing. The room smell musty. São Paulo is 2 hours away, but you have a great mall in front.

The ibis Mogi was a decent hotel. The rooms were very small, but clean, and the bed was somewhat comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. My main frustration was that I booked online, and changing my reservation required me to download their app. I could not make changes on the web, even though I booked that way, very frustrating.
