Excellent, my third visit, however it was very noisy Midnight to early hours 3.00am people where outside talking, laughing etc and noised travelled up above and we could clearly hear it whist trying to sleep I think it was from the Seminar that was being held that week at the Pullman

Had high expectations but didn't deliver. All started well with early check in but failed after that. No balcony furniture, room quite dated & carpet requires a deep clean. The obvious mould & its smell was the worst of our experience & on reiterating this to management we were given a "You should have mentioned this earlier as now we can't offer you anything". Hugely disappointed & would not recommend or return.

We stayed one night at the Pullman due to a last-minute personal situation, and overall the experience was excellent. At first, we had an issue with room 318. Even though the air conditioning was turned off, there was a constant loud noise, almost like a turbine, and when it was time to sleep it became impossible to ignore. I called reception again and Craig answered. He was amazing. He took the issue seriously, came to check the room himself, heard the noise as well, and really made an effort to find a solution. He even showed us a few different rooms until we found one that was comfortable, and then arranged the room change for us. The service was excellent and really made a difference to our stay. Great customer service and a genuine willingness to solve the problem. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Great front desk service. Room was crappy. Furniture was peeling apart. Shower was hot then cold every 20 seconds leaving you close to being burned. Just upsetting coming from a trip from China and you feel like we are 20 years behind. This was the second most expensive hotel for that night in cairns and only chose this cause it looked great. Rooms need an overhaul and bathrooms need some love. Fix tv. Was small and crap. Couldn’t watch anything as nothing worked. Embarrassing to be a Aussie and what we give too tourists

The newly renovated and luxurious suites are a bonus, especially given we were upgraded to a harbour view. Unfortunately - as this was our third stay - disappointed to find a $50 “guarantee fee” added without notice to our prepaid accommodation. A $1 charge to ensure our Amex was legit is usual, but salt rubbed into the wound when we queried the fee later in the evening, then to be told it may not be refunded for several weeks. Unfortunately as well our medium rib eye steaks (chosen by two of the party) in the restaurant were tough and virtually inedible. Disappointing as service was great. We have eaten there a number of times even when staying at the casino and never had a bad meal, or a tough steak! Advised the waiter of our concerns but no response.

The place is looking better than it has, I stayed in 2 rooms over 3 days. 513 & 614. The shower screens in both rooms were faulty as were the buttons to switch from shower rose to above head version. The kids play area on level 3 could also do with some love.
