The rooms are very old. Over priced. The rooms don't even have basic amenities. I have a baby and the hotel refused to provide a microwave to heat be able to heat the baby bottle. Vert poor and below standard service of what is expected of the pullmann brand.

Unfortunately, we do not provide microwaves within our rooms. We try our hardest to address issues as they arise. While we did offer to heat the bottle up in our kitchen - please allow me to apologize, that on this occasion, this was not a suitable solution. We hope you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the future.

No sleep in old bed

Unfortunately, I was allocated a room not yet renovated. It was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever experienced was awake constantly through the night. Fortunately only a short stay because they couldn’t move me - if you value sleep steer clear of the un renovated rooms.

My partner and I were very impressed with the Pullman International. We had one of the newly renovated rooms which was light filled and spacious. The renovations are very stylish giving the room a lovely ambiance. The bathroom was large with a walk in shower and plenty of bench space. The double lounge and balcony table provided two comfortable spots to relax. The foyer of the hotel is very attractive with grand curved windows from floor to ceiling. The only amenity we thought needed improvement was the pool area which is in need of renovation.

The bed was so comfy, the room was airy, a nice large room, staff were very friendly and accommodating, a wide selection of breakfast dishes and very tasty, We try to stay there whenever we can.

The Pullman is a grand old dame in process of getting a face lift, which is desperately needed. Problem here is everything you may purchase such as breakfast, is charged at a phenomenal amount, breakfast which is a buffet, costs if you were not aware or informed of pre-purchase option, $39 per head. It is a lovely breakfast but not worth that money. Then there is the charges for dinner, which is extremely limited and also very pricey. Don’t order wine or beer for the bar, $13 for a stubby is extremely overpriced even for Cairns. The rooms are basic nothing to wow you, but the service from the staff is good. Overall not worth the money charged.
