Our room (1213) had a overpowering musty smell for the entire 5 day stay (13-18th April), housekeeping sprayed the room daily with no improvement. Complained to reception about the smell, told room had not been renovated and due to the wet conditions Cairns had been experiencing this can happen. (Yes room needs a reno). Later offered another room however we chose to stay where we were as didn't want to pack up everything to move as we had plans. We found the Coco's restaurant to be quite expensive for some menu items and extras. We did experience a nice little surprise after my partners birthday dinner on the 14th when staff presented my partner with a small cake with sparkler and birthday wishes. We found all staff to be very friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Room was nice, a water filter in the room on the bench would be great but eveeything else wonderful, especially front of house in restaursnt , at bar and young man at reception. Food was amazing.

Rooms were newly furnished and the view was absolutely gorgeous i loved the mountain view and my parents enjoyed the harbour view. My second stay you guys went above and beyond which made me feel apreciated as a heartist member.
