Check-in is always a struggle and it would be good if new staff had more familiarity with Reef Rewards program and were a bit more welcoming and hospitable. My check-in was a mess and part of the confusion was fault of my companion who checked in early. However, front desk had no recall of my companion checking in early (and I think same young woman who checked me in also checked in my friend). When I showed up front desk said I had no reservation. After way too much drama, I called my companion and she said she was already in the room! Front desk had booked my friend into her own room under her own credit card but somehow removed my reservation... Long mishap but should not have occured at such a fine hotel leaving my check-in to take over 30 minutes...
