Great location right in the heart of Cairns. Walking distance to every necessity in town. Rooms had everything we needed. Probably a little outdated but for what we needed it was perfect.

The location was great, the room was average, and the staff service was poor. I was surprised when I was asked to pay the $100 incidentals deposit from my personal account, as I was travelling for work, and they basically said to me "If I trash the room then it's not covered, so if I don't pay it I will have to find someone else to stay". They then served someone else and left me standing there. I ended up paying the fee, but this is not how someone travelling for work should be spoken to when they are surprised that it was booked incorrectly, and they have a surprising cost they have to personally pay for. Apart from that, it was fine, but I felt very uncomfortable with that particular staff member for the remainder of my stay.

The hotel is nicely positioned conveniently however I have stayed a number of times and the quality of the room has a lot of variance. First time the room was amazing no issues 9/10 second time not as clean or maintained and third time my most recent stay the shower head was broken toilet seat had missing bolts general condition of the room was poor.
