This time because of the renovation the visit was not very satisfactorily.

There is no indication on the All App that there is a renovation going on so you can imagine the surprise when you arrive and the reception is closed and you need to go via the Ibis hotel reception. The people at the reception were very king and helpful and took very good care of us. However the Novotel’a rooms needs urgent renovation ( not just the reception) as they are old and “ used” and for me they are very far from the normal standard the Novotel 4 stars level, and for the matter far from any 4 stars hotels . They should reduce the stars during this time of renovation .

Since January, renovation works have been underway on our restaurant, bar, outdoor areas and meeting spaces, which currently requires check-in via the ibis reception. Your comments regarding communication on the ALL App are well noted and already modified. We are however very pleased to read that our reception team took good care of you during your stay, and we will gladly share your kind words with them. Regarding the rooms, please know that the renovation project will continue with the guest rooms starting again in October, after a summer break allowing us to welcome our guests in the best possible conditions during the high season. The rooms and hotel are outdated. Carpet is dirty, stairs are not straight and the shower ceiling is full of mould. Beds are comfortable but it’s not super clean. Room for 4 had only 2 handtowels and nothing more.
