Hotel conveniently located however secure parking was very expensive at €22 for 1 day. Air-conditioning in the room was weak and ‘free’ water for the room collected from reception was either by the paper cup, your own bottle, or you could purchase a reusable bottle at €4 each. Other Ibis Styles I’ve stayed at provided glass bottles that you could fill up yourself.

Just out of the train station, the hotel is very convenient, nicely decorated. The breakfast is good. Although far from the old historical part of LYon, the Part Dieu train station area is good for a night, with a good choice of restaurants.

Basic room that needed extras such as soap in the shower (there was only shampoo) plus the shower fitting was poor and there was a loose cover on the plug hole that made in slippery in the shower. No proper cups, water or a fridge provided.
