The hotel needs serious renovations. I was on the second floor, the carpets were old, the shower was rusty. Otherwise, the breakfast is excellent and the restaurant is good.

This was a reasonable hotel that was ok for the money, but had a few things working against it. Firstly, the location is a fair distance from the centre of Lyon and there aren’t a lot of good food options nearby. The room was reasonably modern, but the bathroom door did not close and the vanity plug did not retain water. There was no iron/board within the room and there were only a couple of English TV channels. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. A somewhat no frills accommodation option in Lyon for the budget conscious.
