It was a good comfortable stay, but due to Covid they did not clean my room often (I was there 9 days). It was cleaned twice, so not horrible, but I had to ask for service after I was told it would be done on 3 specific days (it was not done on any of them). Again, not a huge issue given the circumstances, but it would have been nice to have some items refreshed.

Due to the Covid situation, there is no room service. No towel replacement, no emptying the rubbish can. I would have appreciated a discount.

Corona makes everything difficult but the hotel did its very best to make us feel at home Arrival and departure easy, the hotel staff very nice We noticed that the room could have been much cleaner ( certainly in these times!) Close to metro and easy walking to everything

Hotel bar is wrongly located in the intermediate floor with no permanent personnel. The restaurant room is very small and not attractive. As a visitor, you would bot expect this in Lyon, a city capital of food and cuisine.

Selected because of underground parking and acecss to metro - only 3 stops to hotel de ville and art gallery. 4 nights plus parking for 500 euros. Not cheap but a very comfy room and plenty of towels. 6th floor but still bothered by noise on Saturday night because of McDonald's opposite.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days on a weekend. The hotel is close to the city center and very nearby Part Dieu. The room was not too bad but I did hear a lot of noise from street. Breakfast was great

It is very convenient to reach the hotel by walk from Part Dieu Gare. Good park in the vicinity. Breakfast is superb with a variety of dishes. Air conditioning is pretty good which is important for summer stays in Lyon. Hospitable reception lady Claire was very kind to help us with relocation, iron etc. I recommend this hotel for visiting Lyon.

While everything was surely ok, as to be expected from Mercure hotel, I would like to laud the staff who were extremely helpful, from the 3 receptionists to the ladies from restaurant and breakfast room Halfway through the stay I had a small accident and hurt my foot. They took such excellent care of me. Calling in the doctor, bringing me ice, helping me to my room, letting me keep the room somewhat longer on day of departure to wait for my train departure and just inquiring how I was. well done, this is what hospitality is all about

Stayed here 1 night for a conference at Espace Tete d'Or. Was so easy taking the RhoneExpress from the airport and then taking the Metro to Charpennes. Was able to walk to the conference each day as well. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast buffet, and convenient location.
