Just what we needed for a stopover in Lyon

We decided to break up a family rail journey to Lake Annecy with a stop at this hotel. It is really well located near Lyon Part Dieu station, just a short walk away from the exit. Lots of work going on to revitalise Lyon in the surrounding area which can seem a little off-putting from a visual perspective, but the rooms were quiet, clean and really good value. Staff were very friendly to the kids, and have us a card game our daughter loved, until we all got addicted to 'Piou Piou" (a must buy...). We didn't eat at the hotel as there we went out for pizza on the night we stayed, but a little 'U' across the road for any snacks/food required. They kindly kept all our left luggage while we went to go to the botanical gardens (a must see too) which we got back once we had our hire car. Small point would be that short term parking (to pack bags into car) not as clear as it could be, but I might have been being dumb in not spotting. Will definitely use again if in Lyon.

Hotel and staff were very efficient. Room small but had everything we needed. Would benefit from a different colour scheme. Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful and pleasant for the entirety of our stay. I can recommend this hotel which is close to the train station.
