Ibis Style is one up from Ibis budget (never again) so had low expectations… Turns out, the staff are lovely, there are comfortable beds and a decent breakfast (fresh squeezed orange) to prepare you for 20,000 steps around Paris. Merci beaucoup! We’ll be back…

Arrival at the hotel was good and welcoming. Quick check in, although the system would not allow me to pay for the second room - this was sorted in the morning when the actual receptionist was on duty. Breakfast was ok given that it was a 3 star hotel. We were not around all day to enjoy the free coffee & tea (only available until 6pm). Rooms were small but comfortable. My daughter was bitten by bed bugs on the second night. WHen we cam eback hoe the rash on the hands got worse, eventually leading to the doctor saying that we need to apply the lotion in order to get rid of the scabies. These bugs got transferred to our home (probably by placing the bags on the beds) and fortunately we were able to catch it in the early stages before the infestation started on our home beds. This is the reason for the low rating. The sheets on my daughter's bed (sofa bed actually) were not replaced after the first night by the house staff - although the other 2 beds in the room hsd theirs replaced! The hotel is in a quiet place - i did not hear any early morning noise!

If we had been informed of your case, we would have scrupulously checked your room and if there had been bedbugs, we would have changed rooms. we have a strict protocol for this type of problem. -Overall very basic and dated room and amenities -Staff was super friendly, attentive and helpful -Rooms very basic, didn’t even have a garbage bin in the room (only in the bathroom) -Storage in the room was a little metal cart with 3 trays. Felt like a university dorm room -Elevator wasn’t working on the first day -Free breakfast was very nice but again basic -Almost no counter space in the bathroom to put anything. Sink was tiny and water got everywhere. Difficult to bend forward even to rinse or wash your face without hitting your head against the mirror and getting water everywhere -Air conditioning worked very well -Close to train station with lots of local shops and stores in the area

The staff at the hotel were super helpful and kind. The complimentary breakfast was AMAZING, with fresh breads, fruit, meats, cheeses and croissants. Both staff and breakfast were 5 stars! The room, however, had little to be desired. There was dust covering the room's lamp shades and long hairs around the bathroom sink. The paint on the tile walls was peeling in the bathroom. The room could use some updates.
