I was in Geneva for a short stay and after searching I found the best way to enjoy Geneva without going over budget. Geneva is among the top 5 most expensive cities in Europe for tourists. Ibis Budget (that’s the real name of hotel!) is a budget friendly hotel in south Geneva. The building looks premium from the outside and once inside, a first time visitor starts to think of Hilton or Marriott.: because the hotel has that luxury feel even though it is a budget friendly hotel. The usual amenities are present, such as large lounge to entertain guests or family, nice card operated lifts, well equipped cafe and air conditioned rooms. The hotel is located near a tram/bus stop (line 14) and is just 17 minutes ride from the main Cornavin train station. In fact line 14 goes directly to the hotel premises from Cornavin. All in all a memorable less expensive way to experience Geneva. Because Ibis is part of the Accor multinational hotel group, one gets one of the best hotel services at a decent price. Highly recommended!

Basic but very clean accommodation, tram and bus stops nearby but what makes this hotel special are the accommodating and friendly staff.

Arrived on 5th August for 1 night and found the room comfortable and clean, WiFi was good as was being able to find british channels on the tv. Break fast was very good, plenty of options for a self service breakfast
