Ibis Styles Carouge is our 'go to' hotel for a much-needed short break to have fun and see some culture in Geneva. This time we came by train and after emailing the hotel directly, it was great to have the electronic Geneva Transport cards so we could travel in Geneva freely before checking in. I cannot lie, I was a little disappointed that there are now two price bands of rooms at the hotel, with the higher floor rooms from 4 to 6 on the Place Rondeau side now classed as 'Limited Edition' and more expensive (due to view, coffee machine and mini bar)...sadly, these rooms are over our budget now. We did have a room on the 2nd floor -loved the decoration- and still a nice view and LOVE the window seats, where my son always sits reading the 'bandes dessinees' books. Breakfast still good (shout out to fresh orange juice machine and pancake machine!) and really nice reception, restaurant and house keeping stuff (spoke to the lovely cleaner lady on the 2nd floor). We'd love to come back - I'll just have to work harder and save more pennies to come!

Clean, modern, spacious, and comfortable rooms. The friendliest of staff. The best breakfast. And a very cool comics theme across the building. I've been to several IBIS Styles in Europe and this is by far the best!

Well located close to the tramway, room and hotel in general were very beautiful! Excellent idea to have cartoon room customized! Just we couldn’t change the room temperature. And 23.5 inside it’s very hot.
