Good location and within walking distance of pretty much everything. The room was also nice and comfortable. However, the service didn’t really feel like what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Some staff members were friendly and helpful, while others came across as quite rude. One experience in particular was disappointing. They have outdoor seating near the street, and when we sat down with a croissant we had bought from a nearby bakery, a staff member immediately came over and told us we couldn’t eat it because it was outside food. That would have been understandable, but he didn’t even offer us a menu or ask if we wanted to order anything from the hotel. Overall, the location is excellent and the room was good, but I probably wouldn’t book again.

Everyone on staff treat us very well. My luggage never arrived until the last night we were there but Naomi at the front desk kept calling British Airways daily, sometimes a couple times a day on my behalf. Wenceslas was so friendly and helpful to the our every need…they were both delightful. On the last night, we were there. My daughter and I were awake at 3:30 by the accurate smell of burning plastic and Marlyse was at the front desk and came up and could smell it too, but we couldn’t determine where it came from so we went back to sleep at 5:30. It happened again and Marlyse came back up and we still couldn’t figure it out. A little later we shall smoke coming from the planter in the room above us and Wenceslas came up and realized the matter was urgent and he ended another man from the concierge desk, went up to the room and put out the smoldering fire. WE SAVED THE HOTEL FROM BURNING DOWN! Oh the breakfast they were delicious! The croissants melted in your mouth. The fruit was at perfection. The staff in there were so good to us…Noēmie, Zellie Hassone, Ame, Sophie and Saber! Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so nice. It could’ve been horrible with my lost luggage and the lost sleep the last night because of the burning flower planter upstairs keeping us awake thank you to all of you. You are outstanding.
