I checked in online via ALL app arrived at the hotel at 13:45.The lady at the front desk told me to come back at 3pm for proper check in so I made a remarks clarifying " room is not ready at this time?" without a response she called someone via radio and told me they will call her back. After 30 minutes no feedback yet - so I went back to check on her because for me rather than seating in the heated lobby area - I can go out, come back when room is available I did not impose nor made it look like I really wanted the room at that time It was just surprising to me that at 13:45 room is not ready since most of the time by 12:45 room is cleaned depending on how the guest checked out but most of the time WE ( GUESTS) know by rule that we should be out by 11AM seldom that we stretch it out to 12. The manager ( it seems) educated me on check in time like It is my first time. After another 15 minutes the lady came to us gave me the key to the room casually saying your room is ready this is your key! Not a word of any orientation. One of the guy saw us struggling with our luggage on the small stairs offered help but neither the front desk offered anything. I decided to check in at SOFITEL because of an EXCELLENT, WARM ambience from staff from other SOFITEL HOTEL but this is the WORST experience so far! Is it because this is PARIS? where everyone is expected to be rude?

Of all SOFITEL group - this is by far the WORST experience we had. The receptionist was rude to us, unwelcoming vibe. mind you I booked the suite room at 5th floor with a balcony and partial view of Eiffel tower.

We were so pleased with our stay. The room was lovely, the room service was excellent, the staff was courteous. The location was perfect! Everything was great, we would definitely stay here again

Our room was hot. We had difficulties the whole stay. Maintenance came and it got better but not great. We spent every night with window open Desk staff was were very courteous, helpful and kind Had to ask 3 times for pillows and still water only. Still water never happened. Resturant food was bland, staff not very well informed. Poor wine choices Breakfast good Staff excluding front desk seemed 'surly', not pleasant. We had just come from Sofitel St. James and it was a night and day experience. I was very disappointed and will not stay at this hotel again.
