We chose to return to the hotel as we had been 15 years ago for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint, we had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Clean room, staff all helpful, friendly and polite, lovely food, great location, would definitely recommend.

It was my second visit to this hotel. Despite having booked and obtained confirmation for a room with a view of the River Seine, I was not provided with one. I was not told so, i had to ask the receptionist whether it had a river view and her answer was nonsensical: Twin rooms facing the river did not exist!! I was not given the wifi password upon check in, we had to come down later in the evening to ask for it. The room does not carry items like air conditioner, shower caps, face towels etc despite advertising it had amenities. Upon asking the receptionist for some items, we were simply told : ' normally we do not have these items' and nothing was done. The tea/coffee were not replenished daily. The staff are not welcoming; they do not greet customers. Even our "Bonjour" remained unanswered several times. The experience was a cold one. The warmth which we felt a few years ago was unfortunately no more there

The attitude you describe at reception and the lack of acknowledgement from some colleagues do not reflect the level of hospitality we aim to provide, and your comments will be shared with the relevant managers.
Regarding the room view, we would like to clarify that our twin rooms are not located on the façade offering a direct view over the River Seine. We regret, however, that this was not explained to you clearly and courteously at the time, especially if your booking confirmation had led you to expect otherwise.
Concerning the in-room amenities, for environmental reasons some items are no longer systematically placed in the rooms but remain available on request. We are sorry that this was not handled properly when you asked our team.
We have also taken note of your comments regarding the Wi-Fi information and the assistance with your luggage. These points will be reviewed with the teams concerned.
We sincerely regret that your second stay left you with such a different impression of our hotel and hope that we may have the opportunity to restore your confidence in the future.

I booked this hotel specifically because the website stated that it had both a fitness center and a spa. However, I was extremely disappointed to discover that the fitness center is only open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For a four-star hotel, I find these opening hours completely unacceptable, especially for guests who want to work out early in the morning or later in the evening.
Had I known about these restricted hours beforehand, I definitely would not have stayed at this hotel.
I paid €1,200 for three nights, excluding breakfast, which I also found very disappointing. The choice was extremely limited and did not offer enough healthy options for me.
Honestly, as a Gold member, I expected a much better experience in a Novotel. I will definitely not stay at this hotel again. The entire stay felt like a complete waste of money and in my opinion, it was nowhere near worth €1,200 not even half of that amount.

Pour la bouteille d’eau, nous vous présentons en revanche toutes nos excuses. Celle-ci fait bien partie des avantages liés à votre statut et aurait dû être mise à disposition dans votre chambre.
Nous comprenons également votre frustration concernant les horaires du fitness. Ceux-ci sont toutefois indiqués sur le site internet de l’hôtel ainsi que sur l’application ALL. En semaine, notre salle de sport est accessible de 7h30 à 21h00.
Nous avons également bien pris en compte vos remarques concernant l’état de la chambre et les transmettrons aux équipes concernées.
Enfin, nous comprenons votre ressenti concernant le tarif de votre séjour. Les prix de l’hôtellerie parisienne évoluent fortement en fonction de la demande et de l’activité dans la capitale. La rentrée est notamment une période particulièrement sollicitée en raison des nombreux événements professionnels, culturels et sportifs organisés à Paris.
Nous regrettons que, malgré votre surclassement, vous n’ayez pas eu le sentiment que votre fidélité avait été suffisamment reconnue. Votre retour nous permettra notamment de mieux veiller à la communication et à la bonne délivrance des avantages liés au programme ALL.

Firstly, I would like to mention that the hotel’s location was excellent, and I found several members of the team to be lovely. The lady who assisted me at check-in, whose name unfortunately escapes me, was very pleasant, and Oceanne at check-out was also wonderful and very helpful.
Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues with my room that significantly affected my stay. The bathroom was very dirty, and the hot water was not working properly amongst other things.
I raised the matter with who I believe was the overnight supervisor/manager in the morning. I specifically explained that my baby was sleeping and asked that nobody be sent to the room at that particular moment. Despite this, someone subsequently came to the room and knocked on the door, waking my daughter.
As it was already quite close to our check-out time, I felt that waiting until we had left would not have made any meaningful difference, particularly since the issues could not realistically have been resolved before our departure.
I would appreciate it if someone from the appropriate management or Guest Relations team could contact me to discuss the above and let me know how I can follow up on these concerns.

Happy with the location. Brendon is currently working on site but I booked his accommodation originally for 3 nights. However, the work situation changed and we had to change dates, and were only then given an itinerary for a 2 night stay. However, we still had to pay an extra amount so in total paid for 3 nights but stayed for 2. This is not ideal customer service for an international visitor. He was also not able to check in early when he arrived after a very long flight unless he paid more money.

I haven’t received the refund of my room fee yet. One of your colleagues recharge the room fee(1062.08 euros) in person, but I have already paid online.
I need to know when the fee will be back, this experience is terrible and influenced my further traveling.

Excellent elevators and a wonderful view of the Seine from the 22nd floor; however, there were issues with an outdated bathroom, as well as water leaking and seeping from the shower in room 2227. There was no toilet brush—something I have never encountered in any other hotel. Breakfast involved long waits, a lack of variety, and the same food every day.
