Good location, breakfast good. Unfortunately the air conditioning in room did not work, room was roasting. No cold water in bathroom sink. Kids on cot bed was so noisy none of us slept.

The rooms were clean and tidy, however being on the 21st floor without air conditioning they were really hot even in April. The fan system was fairly ineffectual! The shampoo and body wash were both empty on arrival, although filled quickly on asking. The breakfasts were good, although I was not offered coffee on any of the 3 mornings we stayed in the bar breakfast room! There were also additional menu options (such as omelettes) which I was only told about by another guest!

Dear Team, Accor’s mission, “Pioneering the art of responsible hospitality, connecting cultures, with heartfelt care,” has always been something I value when choosing your properties across different countries. However, my recent stay did not reflect this standard. As a family travelling with a young child, we arrived late in the evening expecting a smooth and restful experience. Upon entering our room, we found that the lamp was broken and leaning sideways against the wall, appearing unstable and potentially unsafe. More concerningly, the room door could not be securely locked, raising immediate safety concerns. When we approached the reception and requested a room change, we were informed that no immediate action could be taken and that we would need to wait for a technician. Therefore, we decided to leave the hotel while the issue was being assessed. After returning approximately two hours later, we were informed that the issue could not be resolved and that a room change was required. We then had to return to Level 28, retrieve all our luggage, and relocate to a new room on Level 18. Given the situation, it would have been greatly appreciated if the team had proactively arranged for our luggage to be transferred while we were out, or coordinated the room change in advance to minimise disruption, especially considering we were travelling with a young child. Upon arrival in the new room, we also noticed visible sediment in the bathtub. We were informed that housekeeping was no longer available at that hour. As it was only a one-night stay, we chose to tolerate the condition, though it fell below expected standards. Having experienced Accor properties in multiple countries, this stay was noticeably inconsistent with the level of care and service I have come to expect. The lack of proactive support, attention to safety, and room readiness did not reflect the “heartfelt care” your mission represents. I hope this feedback will be taken constructively to improve future guest experiences.
