The biggest positives of this hotel are its fantastic location and the excellent views from many of the rooms. It’s within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and has great transport links, making it an ideal base for exploring Paris. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is showing its age. The rooms are tired, in need of refurbishment, and cleanliness could definitely be improved. We also found that basic toiletries, including the soap and shower gel, were empty on arrival, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard. Overall, while the location is hard to beat, the hotel feels overpriced for what you receive. Unless it has undergone a refurbishment, I’d probably look at other options next time. If you can get a room with a view, that’s definitely the highlight of the stay.
