I’ve stayed at the Ibis Stuttgart Airport Messe a few times now, and it consistently delivers exactly what a 2‑star‑plus hotel should. Rooms are classic Ibis: basic, clean, functional, and perfectly fine for a night’s stay. Hairdryer, luggage shelf, work desk, good blackout curtains, and a firm mattress that actually sleeps well. Shower and sink are in a separate room, which is a plus. Early check‑in as an Accor Gold member worked flawlessly after a quick email. Staff were friendly, everything in the room worked, and the common areas were clean. Location is practical: about a 10‑minute walk to the tram, then just a few minutes to the airport. Getting to the city center takes longer — roughly half an hour. The lobby bar exists but could use more personality. A big sports TV or a cozy seating corner would make it feel less like an extension of reception. Nighttime is impressively quiet — no aircraft noise at all. Overall, a reliable, no‑nonsense airport hotel that does exactly what it promises. I’ll keep coming back.

This was a business trip, and needed to be paid with company card. Despite trying 2 of mine, and another one of a colleague, none of the payments went through. Our bank checked and stated that no request was made. In the end, we used a Revolut business card enrolled in apple pay. All previous used card had no issue at the stores and restaurants, except at the reception.

After consulting with our team and reviewing our payment system, we would like to clarify briefly why your bank may not have registered a request: When a card reader declines a card (e.g., due to security certificates, chip reading errors, or unsupported company card protocols), the transaction is often aborted locally at the terminal. In this case, the request does not even reach the bank servers, which is why no record appears there. Since the Revolut card worked immediately via Apple Pay, this indicates a specific technical incompatibility of the physical company cards with the terminal protocol at that moment, rather than a general error of our system or your account coverage. It may be related to the fact that the devices are not enabled for Apple Pay and linked to this. Not even enough pillows at reception. Price is high and plus we’ve gotta pay for the parking. We stay today at Hampton for same price including a good breakfast. I used to stay here in all my business visits but not anymore.

At our reception, we have a specific stock of pillows. It sometimes occurs that several guests request a pillow, which can quickly deplete our stock. We ask for your patience in case the stock may be temporarily exhausted. Regarding the price, we were able to determine that your average price was €66 per night. This price corresponds to the economy class and is still well within the limits of this category. Our hotel is located near the airport, which makes the parking situation somewhat challenging.
