This hotel is my absolute favorite for stay in Stuttgart for business and trade shows Steep in pricing but worth every Euro spent The staff at this hotel are amazing in their hospitality make you feel at home and addicted to this property by their warm and fantastic service This was my 5th or 6th stay at this impeccable well located hotel property Only one big flaw being that they not believe in prompt email communication This trip my wife left back a brand new shawl in the room by mistake and despite many email reminders to keep it in lost and found and inform me so that I could ask a local friend in Stuttgart to retrieve the same But unfortunately no response and I gave up - this is probably the dark side of this moon !!!

Arrived at Movenpick and no reservation was in their system. My secretary booked the room with Agoda for 2 nights, but nothing in their system. Had to pay again and next day Agoda call me asking why I paid again! FO staff were clueless! Waiting in line and really not professional staff everywhere. The GM should be more focussing on training and quality assurance. But really can’t expect much from Accor products.

I booked the Moevenpick at Stuttgart Airport, as I often do, and got a room in the old Wyndham hotel. Apparantly Accor bought the old Wyndham hotel at the airport that used to sell its rooms for 79 - 89 EUR. Now, they charged me the same as at the Moevenpick 150 EUR biz rate for this inferior experience, all the room, the heating, the breakfast and the amenities like sauna and gym are below average. This has been a very dissapointing experience and really a rip off in terms of value for money.

We have stayed at a different Movenpick previously and were very impressed by the service, food and decor there, so when our flight was cancelled we were more than happy to be sheltered in the nearby Movenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport. Such an experience was replicated here and now we are fast becoming quite the fans of this fantastic brand. Having only stayed overnight due to the cancellation, we didn't stop for breakfast or have much time to acclimatise to the hotel in full.

Great location but disappointing accommodation and service

I’ve been staying at this hotel for the last six years on and off for business and I have to say of all the hotels it has the best location when using the Stuttgart airport. That being said my recent experience has made me want to start staying the night in Stuttgart and dealing with the 20 minute taxi ride to the airport. During my most recent stay the room I checked into smelled like an ashtray having arrived in the evening I tried to use the restaurant which had been closed for a private event and when I went to the hotel bar was told that they couldn’t serve me because the kitchen was too busy. The only key advantage to this hotel is the location and the services that it offers and in this case I paid twice what I would normally for a room with no services and inability to have access to restaurants. I strongly recommend that when you’re using the Stuttgart airport that you stay downtown where the hotels are cleaner and there’s more services available the taxi drive in the morning is only 20 minutes well worth it in this case
