Business trip - hotel which gets big guarantee fee

One of the very bad thing, I've had to pay 50EUR / day the guarantee fee at checkin (in my case, usually the guarantee fees are getting refunded in about +3 weeks -> alway I have big issues with financial department from my company on these sort of fees); I am an Accor member since more that 10 years, spending more nights in hotels that at home, nobody from the reception care about getting me in troubles, for this reason I would avoid Pullman hotel in Stuttgart for the future

Heavy noise until 18.00h, unbelievable that you charge for the stay. Perfect breakfast, good bar with very nice barkeeper. Staff at the reception, who is rather unfriendly and let you wait, while from the room behind the reception comes chatter and laughter.

I did book this hotel because I was looking for a place with restaurant. But then found out it was closed on saturdays. I would be nice to have it mentioned on the app. For the rest it was fine

Revovation works all day long

The hotel was OK, staff friendly as always. Problem were renovation works starting early morning and went on thill after 6 pm. Upon request I immediately got an other room which was much more quiet. I would have expected such a room from the beginning though.

Overall, a good stay. They’re undergoing room renovations on the upper floors but the noise was wasn’t a bother and stopped after working hours. I hope that they do the same for the common areas and it is all a bit dated. No restaurant service in the evenings, bar not open until 6 pm, and no room service, prevent higher marks. Front desk team were all outstanding.

I did not enjoy my stay. The front desk was hardly helpful, whenever I would come with problems, for the most part they would just blow me off. The construction is so loud that you can hear it clear as day throughout the entire building. They only have one washer and one dryer for the entire property. I asked to have my air looked at in my room because it wasn’t working and all they told was there was not a technician to look at it. When I checked out, they spent 20 minutes trying to figure it out; it took so long I just had to leave because I was going to miss my flight. They couldn’t figure out the piece between booking.com and them for “payment” even though I already paid booking.com. They never sent me a receipt for my stay; which I have asked for through their website customer service, ironically, still haven’t heard from them. Overall, I have no intention of coming back to this hotel, I am glad my stay was cut short because this place was a nightmare. If you are American, don’t be fooled by how nice it looks in the pictures and from the outside.

The hotel has an ideal location. It is a short train ride from the airport and close to the city center by train. Crossing a park in 5 minutes you are in a street with plenty of shops. The only downside, they are currently doing renovation work in the hotel and I was waken up by noise.

Hats off to the staff at the Pullman Stuttgart Fontana! First, I would be remiss if I didn't share my deepest and HEARTFELT THANKS (DANKE) to Marin the Front Desk Associate and Manager! She greeted me every day with a smile, an encouraging word and of course, the adult beverage of choice. She along with Amanda ( My Train trainer) and KAIS, I know I am misspelling his name, but he too also made me stay delightful. The rooms were great, the space and views were beautiful. If you are ever in Stuttgart and want VIP treatment at affordable prices, Stay at the Pullman. Its near the train station, and many areas that despite COVID19, would deliver some of the best local cuisine the area had to offer. The breakfast staff also reigned supreme... except one... Some folks need sensitivity training. Despite her, I still managed to enjoy every meal I had there. Lastly, the bartender (I also forgot his name) but he spoke 6 languages, which not only impressed me but the other guests too, with his charm and conversation! KUDOS to all the staff for making my extended stay memorable.

Great location near public transportation. AC in rooms did not work, temperature reaching 27-28C in room. Opening the window not being an option due close proximity of railway tracks. Breakfast poorly supplied, no warm options.

We agree with you that we had trouble with the A/C. Due to supply difficulties with the air-conditioning manufacturer we had no chance to fix the problem earlier. We can ensure you that we were in a constant exchange with the manufacture to have fixed the problem as soon as possible. Due to the Corona restrictions we decided to offer no warm dishes on the breakfast buffet. We just have scrambled eggs on the buffet. If our guests wish to have other egg dishes our kitchen will prepare everything à la minute. Dear teemua796, thank you again for your feedback - we are looking forward welcoming you again.
