The location of the hotel is stunning. The staff were kind and helpful. However, the room itself was not at all comfortable. The furniture was old. The bathroom was not well organised. We were unable to secure the shower head to the wall, which made showering difficult. Finally, the lavatory sink was not working properly. It accumulated water during use.

Good hotel, accessible (two lifts), basement parking, with air conditioning, reasonable prices and great breakfast. Bathrooms are the "cubicle style" - plastic cabins inserted into room, but spacious enough. Beds are really comfortable, much better than in the budget style hotels. Furniture is little worn, but the rooms are clean. In the twin room the beds are pushed together, so not ideal layout. There is no kettle in the room, but staff in the bar is very kind and you can ask them for a cup of hot water if you want to make your own tea or you can buy tea/coffee/drinks there. There is no water in the room, but there is free water in the lobby and machine with some soft drinks. Location is perfect - next to Marienplatz, U-bahn and Zacke (scenic route to TV Tower). There is Rewe supermarket round the corner and Burger King.

I appreciate that Germany was in the middle of a terrible heat wave the week we stayed at your hotel. However, the rooms that we were given had completely nonfunctional air-conditioning. The thermostats are set as low as they can go. The fans are roaring very loud, but absolutely no air is coming out of the vents. Even the hallways were cooler than our room. I’ve unfortunately seen firsthand over the last few years that this is a very common problem in Ibis hotels. While we have enjoyed staying in Ibis hotels all around the world, the recent experiences in your hotel, and in others have led us to question whether we will stay in another Ibis hotel again.

The location for this is absolutely great! There's public transport for the whole city nearby, and also the cog-rail. plus the plaza has everything you could need. Awesome food is within walking distance, and the best locations and the city center are only a 20 minute walk away. They also provide ample parking at the underground parking garage (not exclusive to the hotel, but there's plenty of space, and they provide a better price. There were, unfortunately, two negatives/downsides: 1. I had to pay privately for parking as it couldn't be billed on the company card/account provided for the reservation. Just a small annoyance, but still not pleasant when traveling for business. 2. This is the second time this has happened, and although I can't blame them, my reservation with breakfast for some odd reason did not have breakfast. Since this had already happened, I made it known upon my arrival so that it can be solved by the morning after. It appeared as solved, but the morning I've been told again that my reservation was without breakfast. This time around, I had to pay privately for it as well. Obviously it's billed to the company, but again, it's an annoyance that I actively tried to avoid myself without much success
