11 nights stayed, only 4 times was my room fully completed by house keeping, sometimes the bed was made,mostly it wasn't, sometimes my bathroom was not cleaned and only one towel left, sometimes no towels and room not cleaned. Asked for my mini bar/ fridge to be serviced because it wasn't working,but never happened, holes in the net curtains

Got to start with the house keeping and how bad of a service this is, just stayed for 15 nights and almost everyday it was shocking. From leaving no towels and also trying to leave the wet used towels that were left on the floor for them to change. Bed is really hard Reception staff mostly miserable Breakfast was really good with lots of choices.

Our stay at the Mercure Ostrava Center Hotel was absolutely excellent. The location is perfect for exploring the city center and is within easy walking distance of local attractions and restaurants. The rooms are modern, quiet, very clean, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. A huge highlight was the exceptional staff, who were friendly, professional, and highly attentive throughout our visit. I am very impressed by the customer service provided by Ondra and the rest of the staff. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic selection of fresh food. We also appreciated the convenient on-site parking and the relaxing sauna area. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ostrava!

Breakfast not so good it can be improved by another egg option and 009 room is not good for tv is so small sometimes working sometimes not working and minibar its not cold well because we cant use it as a refrigerator also gym is not enough for 1 monthly stay it requires lat pulldown machine , row machine and chest fly machine

Location is convenient, the stay comfortable. Breakfast very good. However, Room Cleaning Services need to be improved. Cleaning staff was unfriendly and performed the job only halfway (trash bin not always emptied, empty shower soap replaced after two times asking for it, one time the bedroom was not cleaned at all).

The hotel is really nice, clean and probably one of the highest quality hotels in Ostrava. We were happy to be checked in a bit early, although the receptionist gave us room 009 in basement with windows to the parking lot. The room felt cramped, small and dark. I would appreciate at least comment from the receptionist, maybe they were full so it would be understandable, but we were surprised hotel of such level would give you such a bad room with no comment on that. Disappointing. We made coffee in the room and put cream into it which immediately curdled because it was past its expiration date. Gross. I think the room was not in use for long time :-)) The hotel has well equipped modern gym which is a plus. The sauna was perfect in the evening. Even though it said it is in operation almost all day, next day around 10 am the sauna was turned off, which was disappointing. The parking in the courtyard was convenient and for good price.

Second time I stay, really good. Would be a 9 if a) better process around hotel parking, this is not good (seems to be free for all, no possibility to book online that I can see, why? and b) when there are trade fairs you need more staff (and coffee machines) at breakfast. Wouldn't hurt with longer opening hours at the hotel bar either, everybody comes after 23 to have drink before they go to bed. Rooms very comfy and staff pleasant.

The room was clean and reasonably equipped. Acoustics a bit let down, everything from the corridor could be heard in the room. Breakfast was satisfactory.

Repeat stay where I knew what we would get. Happy to visit again. Caveats include the room carpeting (a dust and bugs hazard) and while it’s great to have on premises courtyard parking, the spaces are limited. Will be happy to stay again, but just a single night at a time due to the carpet issue (a historic building like this would be better hand healthier having stone or wood floors despite noise issues).

Our room was quiet and clean - which we like. But the room was cold! (No heating) and despite mentioning to reception- nothing changed.
