I was really impressed with the experience Ibis Budget offers for the bargain price. Clean, pleasantly decorated in fresh colours, a convenient location around 15 minutes (super cheap) Uber ride from the city centre. The bed was nice and firm, which I loved. The fact that you can let a bit of air in via a window that opens is a massive bonus. Only once the window is opened you realise how busy the nearby road is. Otherwise it's completely soundproof against outside noises. The reception is manned 24 hours and the staff are helpful and friendly. For a longer stay you might want to bring a travel kettle with you if you like having hot drinks without leaving your room. There is a drinks machine near the reception but I haven't tried it. Overall 10/10 for what I needed for a short stay. I definitely will be coming back. THANK YOU!

I came to Katowice for the Women's U-20 World Cup Tournament. I based myself here for easy access to Katowice, Sosnowice and Bielsko-Biala stadiums The hotel was great, and easy walking to the bus or tram networks. On arrival, I was greeted by one of many wonderful staff members, that I met over my 13 night stay. They all offered me answers to my many questions during my stay. My room was clean, good shower, and had very good soundproofing seeing as my room looked over a major motorway junction. My breakfast expectations were blown out of the water!! There was such an amazing choice of cold and hot food. A great way to fill up for the start of your day. I would have no issues with staying here again.

I arrived in the evening on a monday and found a very helpful receptionist, going out of her way to resolve some issues. The rooms are acceptably clean. Not acceptable: no power sockets next to the bed. Breakfast food quality is on a low level, but at least you don't need to leave the hotel hungry.

The lady at the reception helpful, but her attitude was more fit for vegetable market than a hotel. The cleaning staff, however is just another level of awful. Loud, opening and closing door with no regard for remaining guests. I was there for an intimate stay not for employees going at everything in their sight.
