5 minutes from hotel to international train station & to direct airport bus made my travels almost effortless.

This was my first time staying at the Mercure Katowice Centrum. Although the room was a bit on the small side it was very comfortable. The win bed mattress was firm and very comfortable. It would have been better if there was a light sheet under the comforter as I'm usually a warm sleeper. Breakfast was the highlight. Being from the San Francisco area, I would be hard-pressed to find a continental breakfast that rivaled the one here. The sliced meats and cheeses are a nice addition to the great main buffet of eggs, sausages, and pastries. Although I didn't try it, the natural honeycomb platter adds a very nice presentation. The sauteed vegetables were great although I wish the mushrooms we served more often. Would definitely stay here again.
