We were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed our stay. A big plus goes to the excellent food and perfect cleanliness. However, a downside was the staff at the aqua park buffet, who were unpleasant and didn't speak a word of English. Additionally, sheets were missing in the sauna area for two days. Overall, though, we recommend the hotel!

We had a great time. The hotel is nice, the sparkling water taps on corridors are great. The food was nice and all the personnel too. Except for one breakfast where I had pancakes with the cottage cheese (from the live cooking), which must've gone bad after multiple days of being on the bar. I vomited in the room ~1 hour after eating it and also had bad diarrhoea.

Check-in was rather quick and without any complications. The receptionist was helpful and kind. The room and bathroom were quite spacious, modern and well-designed, but not perfectly clean - we discovered some dust on a shelf and a piece of condom packaging under the bed. Nevertheless, overall the room was clean. Both breakfast and dinner had plenty of options, and everyone could choose something they enjoyed. We also appreciated the information sheets with the best times to go to breakfast, based on everyone's preferences. Our stay included access to the water and fun zone, as well as the sauna, which we did not have time to try. But we enjoyed the water and fun zone very much. We also visited the game room, which had many games to choose from. The tickets could be cheaper, but the price was worth the experience. Last but not least, we tried the Luna Bar on 7th floor, which had great atmosphere, nice view of the stars and kind staff. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and would love to come back again.

It’s not often that I leave a hotel genuinely struggling to find something to criticise. Mercure Szczyrk Resort is one of those places. Was absolutely everything perfect? No. I have two small observations, which I’ll come back to. But did either of them affect our overall experience? Definitely not. For us, this was a full 10/10 stay. A fantastic welcome and upgrade Our stay started brilliantly. We arrived early, yet our room was already prepared. Even better, the hotel had proactively upgraded us to room 928 on the top floor, with a balcony. That alone was a very nice recognition of my ALL Platinum status. But… I asked whether there might be a possibility of going one step further, ideally to at least a Junior Suite. 😊 This is where Marek at reception deserves a special mention. He was extremely friendly and, rather than simply saying it wasn’t possible, he genuinely took the time to check what could be done. And he made it happen. We eventually moved to Junior Suite 704. Apart from the additional space, we had access to a rather unusual terrace with an actual lawn immediately outside the room. Although part of the outdoor area is shared, it still felt peaceful and almost like having a private little garden. An additional bonus was its location practically next door to the Luna Executive Lounge. Luna Executive Lounge – a great concept Luna is definitely one of the features that makes this hotel stand out. For eligible guests, it operates as an Executive Lounge between 11:00 and 16:00, providing a quieter and more secluded space away from the busiest parts of the resort. As an ALL Platinum member, I had access to Luna regardless of the room category originally booked, which I consider a very worthwhile benefit. I particularly want to mention Daria, who looked after us in Luna. A hotel can have beautiful interiors and impressive facilities, but ultimately it is often the people we remember most. Daria is certainly one of those people. Maksym – a small detail that says a lot about the service. During both breakfast and our evening meal, Maksym from the restaurant floor team also caught our attention. He demonstrated something that isn’t always guaranteed, even in very good hotels – proactivity.Empty plates, glasses and other items disappeared from our table almost immediately, without us having to look around for someone or ask. It might sound like a small thing, but genuinely good service is often made up of exactly these small details. Two things that could be improved The first involved our ALL welcome-drink voucher, which for some reason wasn’t displaying correctly in the app. Technical problems happen, and I have absolutely no issue with that. What I didn’t particularly like was how the problem was handled. Instead of a quick telephone call between the bar and reception, I was asked to leave the bar and go to reception myself to resolve it. Of course, this was hardly a major problem, but in a hotel operating at this level it felt unnecessary. A guest shouldn’t really have to act as a messenger between two departments of the same hotel. My second observation concerns the saunarium, for which there is an additional charge. It is clean and perfectly pleasant, and I certainly can’t say there is anything wrong with it. The issue is simply that, because access costs extra, I expected something that would make the experience feel noticeably more special. At present, I didn’t find anything particularly distinctive about it. In my opinion, this represents a good opportunity for further development. A few additional features, a more interesting relaxation area, or simply some touches that create a more premium experience could make the additional charge feel much more worthwhile. So why 10/10? Because, for me, 10/10 doesn’t mean that absolutely nothing could possibly be improved. It means looking back at the entire experience after the stay and asking myself: did those small issues genuinely take anything away from our time here? In this case, the answer is no. The fantastic location and views, the impressive resort itself, our room being ready early, excellent recognition of ALL Platinum status, the initial upgrade to a top-floor balcony room and then, thanks to Marek’s efforts, Junior Suite 704, the terrace and lawn, Luna Executive Lounge, and people such as Marek, Daria and Maksym all considerably outweighed those minor shortcomings.And the people are particularly important. You can build an impressive resort in a beautiful location. You can add pools, restaurants, lounges and fantastic rooms. But ultimately, it is good service that makes somebody want to return.We do. Mercure Szczyrk Resort – an unquestionable 10/10 from us. Not because absolutely everything was perfect. Because the overall stay was good enough that those small imperfections simply couldn’t spoil an exceptional experience. We will be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Overall, the stay was fine, the hotel is nice, and the surroundings are beautiful. The food was good, but there could have been a wider selection of meatless options, especially for dinner. However, there was an extremely disturbing noise from other rooms every single night until 12:30 AM, which ruined the overall impression.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were particularly pleased with the standard of the Flame restaurant; the cuisine is excellent. The hotel offers a beautiful view of the mountains, and the WOW bar is a very pleasant place to sit.
