I stayed at Mercure Szczyrk Resort with my son and the overall experience was very positive. The service was professional and well organized, the rooms comfortable and maintained to a high standard, and the food consistently good. The hotel offers a broad range of amenities, and its location with attractive views and easy access to outdoor activities is a clear advantage. This was our second stay, and the quality remains consistent across all key areas. The property is clearly well managed and focused on guest experience. I will gladly return in the future, also outside the winter season. Thank you and see you soon 😊

Overall I consider the hotel to be very nice and well located. Even though we explictily requested room at an upper floor (I understand some very high floors are at extra charge), we got a floor at a parking lot. I believe it's quite understandable customers choose the hotel (given its location) also due to views. Our view of parking lot has been a huge disappointment for us, especially after 5 hours of drive.

We fully understand how important the view can be, especially in a hotel with such a location, and even more so after a long five-hour drive. If you had explicitly requested a higher floor, we should have either prioritized this request more carefully or clearly informed you in advance if it was not possible. We regret that the room overlooking the parking area negatively impacted your overall experience. We are also very sorry to hear about the technical issues you encountered and that you had to resolve them twice. This is certainly not the level of comfort and service we aim to provide. Your comments regarding the WiFi quality and the overall value for money have been shared with the relevant departments for immediate review and improvement. I recently stayed at Mercure Szczyrk for four nights. Architecturally, the hotel is truly beautiful. The building itself is impressive, and our room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding – without exaggeration, one of the best aspects of the stay, with excellent variety and quality. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations. Our room was cleaned only on the first day of our stay. For the remaining three days, there was no housekeeping service. After I reported this to reception, they seemed genuinely surprised, but the issue had already affected our comfort. We had no clean towels for three days, coffee and tea were not restocked, and the shower gel ran out on the last day. The service at the lobby bar was particularly disappointing. The staff appeared unprofessional and at times rude. We ordered cocktails, but the first time the order was completely wrong — we received wine instead. The second attempt was incomplete, and we are still “waiting” for a cake that never arrived. This level of service is simply unacceptable for a hotel in this price category. While the reception staff were generally polite and correct, the hotel seemed overwhelmed. I understand it was peak season due to winter holidays and Valentine’s Day, and the property was clearly full. However, a properly managed hotel should be able to operate efficiently at full capacity. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was very loud and crowded. There appeared to be no dress code in the restaurant; guests were dining in bathrobes and slippers, which significantly reduced the overall standard and ambience. In summary, although the building and breakfast are strong positives, the operational shortcomings and service issues made the stay far less enjoyable than expected. Considering the price, I would not recommend this hotel.

We also regret that the atmosphere and restaurant dress standards negatively impacted your perception of the hotel.
